General Info
The Madison Bar and Grill is filled with an ambiance and class that is usually reserved for Manhattan eateries. The formal dining room is cleverly decorated in a 1940s style reminiscent of a chic roadside inn. The décor works an evocative, magical mood, with bare wood floors, wainscoted walls, soft lighting and subtle touches from a bygone era. Patrons can also enjoy The Madison’s eclectic American Cuisine at the bar, or, from April-November, outdoors in an al fresco cafe that wraps around the street corner. Be sure not to miss The Madison’s Weekly Events, including the Sunday Jazz Brunch, First Seating, Tuesday Night Martini Madness, Thursday Taco Night and Endless Happy Hour. The restaurant also offers Private Parties and Off-Premises Catering. The Madison Bar and Grill is a great place for families, professionals, romantic dinners or anyone who likes to unwind and enjoy great food, drinks and service in a sophisticated, comfortable eatery.

Shady place - wow what an experience

I live in Hoboken and know a lot of fun places ........ I used to like going to Madisons but after being robbed by the bartender (full price drinks when said they were half) and also listening to terrible music (Tori Amos on a Thurs. night) this place is done ........... so much more fun and pretty people are downtown ........ the food here is mediocre at best .... hope to see yall downtown cause i live uptown and can firmly say this place su*ks .......

validating parking - WHAT!

Today I went there for brunch and parked in the lot that validated parking for Madison's. It was $30 flat rate for the day because Hoboken Art and Music festival was happening. When we went to pay for brunch, the waitress informed us that they would out of comp stickers, so they were just subtracting $10 off the bill. It wasnt until I went back to the garage when I realized that no matter how long you parked, it was for $30 and it would only be $10 if you had a validation sticker from the restaurant. So here I was paying $20 for parking after recieving only $10 off the bill.

Food was fair. Oysters were warm and of poor quality - very gritty. Chocolate fondue was good, but wished they had nutter butters and pretzels.

Love it!

Great food and service is top notch!! I've had dinner there(great), and my shower was held there. They do a great job on catering in the restaurant.

Never a disappointment

Great food, great drinks, nice dining atmosphere.

The bar scene here can be a bit annoying, since out-of-towners crowd into Hoboken, making it almost impossible for residents to enjoy the better local establishments. But dinner here is never disappointing, even if the prices are a bit over the top.Try the fried oysters & a Cosmopolitan.
Disappointingly, their wonderful Saketini has been taken off the bar menu.
