I had my heart set on dining at The Lady and Sons restaurant in Savannah while on my honeymoon. I made reservations that morning and was really anticipating a wonderful dinner. My cup of she crab bisque soup was very doughy and did not have a lot of flavor. The crab cakes tasted burnt. I did however enjoy the black beans and rice. My husband had a salad and tilipia served over a bed of rice. He was not very impressed either. The highlight of my meal was the homemade lemonade, however refills are not free. My husband said the Key Lime pie was alright, but not spectacular. I did love the decor and the atmosphere, though. I might give this venue another chance when we return to Savannah for a vacation. For the price, I would recommend Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.

When my Aunt Mildred was diagnosed with cancer and hospitalized in Savannah my heart was broken. What could I do from Colorado? I searched nearby on Google and found several florists. I choose Moss and Magnolia because of the name. I am so glad I did! The flowers Heather made and delivered that day were a bright warm reflection of my love! I know they let Mildred know she is loved and brought a smile to her face in a difficult time. If you need someone who will listen and then deliver beyond your expectations. Don't hesitate to give Heather at call. She has earned this review and my deepest heartfelt appreciation!!!!
There are not enough great things to say about Moss and Magnolias and what they did for my wedding! Heather and her crew made my special day even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. The flowers were perfect, and stayed beautiful until well past our honeymoon! The attention to detail and her immense knowledge and resources for finding the exact flowers I wanted make her the only choice for flowers. And it was so nice to see that personalized service still exists today! Even my husband remarked how he won't buy flowers from anyone but Moss and Magnolias.
In visiting Lady & Sons for lunch on Sept. 9th I found the buffet to be outstanding. The sweet potato yams were out of this world!!! The staff was most frindly and great and all that would be expected in Paula's restaurant. The gift shop next door was fabulous as were Jamie and Bobby who autographed their cookbook and had their pictures made with all of us silly old senior ladies. This was a trip in lifetime for me. I would love to go again!
I had a wonderful experience with this Florist. I ordered flowers for a friends birthday and had them delivered to her office. The arrangement was absolutely gorgeous and she couldn't believe how many compliments she had on them. I will be sure to order from Moss and Magnolias for all my future flower needs! The florist was so friendly and helpful when I placed my order, I look forward to working with her again!
Although I did Moss and Magnolia's website, I had no idea of just how beautiful Heather's work was until my mother was recently hospitalized. I was far to flustered to think about what I wanted, so my request was simply ... "I just want it to be something different..." The arrangement was perfect and my pictures just don't do it justice! I will never use another florist!
The chicken pot pie was excellent. Yes it is expensive if you get sea food, but the scallops were awesome. The buffet is also very satisfying. The fried chicken is tasty as are all of the other goodies on the buffet. Everyone who helped or served us were fantastic. Been back seven times.
I had the delicious southern buffet. Paula Dean (and sons) is a place where you can experience that comfort food she has made famous. There's also a very nice gift shop carrying a lot of PD's products. Hope I get a chance to eat here again.
I want to start by saying that the service was great! Our waiter, Travis, was very nice as were other waiters from what I could tell. The food was decent, but that's about it. In my opinion it wasn't worth the price we paid.
we were in Savannah and tried Lady and Sons restaurant and loved it. The food reminds you of what Grandma would cook and the atmosphere is cheery and pleasant. We also met Jamie Deen and he signed our cookbooks
