Dr. Myers practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise in the areas of corrective jaw surgery, removal of wisdom tooth and teeth, dental implants, extractions and bone grafting. Overall

The Seceretary I dealt with on the phone is absolutely clueless about any information. She was suppose to call me a day before my consultation and did not. I had to call her the next day of my appt for her to say she had to call me back. I ended up talking to her on the way to my appointment. I was trying to see if I would have a copay for my appointment. She assured me that my consultation and X-rays were free that my insurance covered it 100 percent. I get to my appointment and sign in. She was sitting right in front of me and said nothing to me almost as if she was trying to ignore me. There was massive amount of patients in the waiting room and even people standing outside of the waiting room. 45 minutes after my appointment time I was curious as to why I have not been called. So I walk up to the window and she says. Did you sign in? I say yes and she said okay we will be with you shortly. I sat there for almost 3 hours. They were flying through patients. I hear people waking up after procedures screaming and freaking out. I go back up there and the secretary asks how she can help me. I say will I have been pretty patient and have been waiting for almost 3 hours now. She asks my name and looks through her paper work. She then proceeds to tell me that she got me mixed up with another patient that had the same last name as me and had me crossed off the list. Really? I said okay I have an infection I need some antibiotics. All the staff tried to come out and apologize but I was over it at this point especially being in pain. They get me back there and I meet with the Dentist.He didn't care. He did prescribe antibiotics but really all he was worried about wasn't really my current situation of my infected tooth but rather trying to talk me into getting all 4 out to make his money. I went and got a second opinion and I'm very glad I did. Please research other options before going here. On top of that I just received a bill for services I was told were free.

This office scams its patients. While their agreement to be "in-network" with METLife requires them to honor prices set by METLife, the office has incorrectly billed myself and my family. They owe a $74 refund to my family. Instead, they have given us a $140+ bill. When I pointed out this error, the billing person assured me that they had the right to not honor "in-network" prices.



I called METLife later that day, well before they closed, and was assured that the 12th page of the member brochure clearly states that the office has to honor the "in-network" prices. I called back, and I left a message for the billing person to contact me about the refund they still owe me. She was "with a patient" when I called and I trusted that she would be in contact with me. I called them well before closing time. She didn't call back about the refund. She didn't call us the next day either. Maybe, if we are lucky, they will FINALLY talk to us about the refund they owe us tomorrow.



This business conveniently chose not to honor the agreements they made to be considered "in-network." I think this was because we chose to take our business elsewhere when they stated they were going to treat our bill as though we didn't have our METLife insurance and charge us more than we were actually supposed to give as our co-pay. If you are a federal employee, or you have Blue Cross Blue Shield and a secondary dental insurance, do NOT use this provider. They will not honor the quote they give you for the pricing. They will change your bill after you have received your service, not contact you to let you know that the bill has been increased by $140, and refuse to return your phone calls to get the bill fixed.

What an office!! Fabulous doctor and staff. Real patient and caring. The sedation for my tooth to be pulled was fantastic.
