Wrost place ever! My wife and I went for lunch after 2pm today. We ordered #10 and 29. She found an eyelash on a piece of soft tendon when she were close to finish eating. I asked the waiter to come over and pointed it out to him. He wanted to take it to the manager on what to do while I didn't want to bother argue with them. So I told the waiter my wife's order should be free and I will pay for my. The waiter agreed on the spot. Then I went to pay. The manager or the owner clearly was unhappy with us. She said "That's not from us." "You need to tell us before you finish, so I will still collect 21.90." 11.95+9.95. Do you look into your broth and dig through your food to find hair before start eating?! No apology, not even a word of sorry came out of anyone's mouth there! I stood there with credit card in my hand and definitly not hand it to her. I told her that my wife found it when she almost finish eating, I will pay for my. Her response were "You should tell us before finish it." Then she took a pen, crossed my wife's order and circled my order. I paid for my 11.95 like I told the waiter, then walked out. I told my wife that we will never come back to this place again. And I certainly hope anybody care about how they get treated at restaurant doesn't go to this place.
I can understand when a place gets too busy and things get out of hand once a while. I even forgive an eyelash in the food. The waiter handled it well. It's how we got treated at the register and how she responded got me angry. If I can give a zero instead of one star I would.

I was very impressed with the food, large menu, and price when I had lunch here recently. Apparently others share my viewpoint, as there was a large line waiting to get in around noon.
Looking forward to going back and trying other items besides the pho, which was very good. I'd recommend going for lunch around 11am or soon afterward so you can grab a seat and not wait in line.

The food here is just fine but if they keep talking themselves up its bound to disappoint. Not just here but a flood of Tripadvisor reviews are ridiculous and obvious. This is not the best PHO in the country, world ,etc and its no 5 star restaurant. Give me a break. Just offer good food and good prices and people will come. You dont have to put down other restaurants or anyone who doesn't agree with you.

I am an Angelino (Los Angeles) and was here for the Air show this year. A local friend recommended and took me here just for the PHO.
I LOVE THE “PHO” here! And don’t forget to order it along with the “Café Sua Da” a Vietnamese style coffee with condensed milk….
Besides, the decoration is very elegant and warm atmosphere... Try and you will love this place.
Very clean and service is reasonably fast.
The price was good for the quality and the portions of the food.
I came back for a second before I return home to Los Angeles !!!!

Wow, I can't remember the last time I have tasted a good bowl of ""Bun Bo Hue"" other than a genuine Hue restaurant in California or Texas where the largest Vietnamese community resides outside of Vietnam. In addition to a fine bowl of Pho, other items on the menu is just as tasty and fresh. The service is exceptional. My family and I would definitely stop by for lunch or dinner at least once on every trip down from Seattle.
I've been to many Vietnamese restaurant in Portland but Pho Tango by far is one of the best place for noodle soup ""PHO"". The menu of ""Pho"" is extensive and it all tastes so great. Besides the noodle soup dishes, they have spring rolls, rice dishes (Bun), and a variety of salad and appetizers for very reasonable prices.
This place looked very clean. The decor was sort of simple but trendy. There were big windows all around with a lot of light. Overall, I was impressed with the quality of food and service at the restaurant and want to come back again. I think this would be a good place for lunch with your co-workers because of prompt service and very in-expensive for a lunch compared with other places.
If you are working around the area and looking for a good taste asian restaurant for a quick 1-hour lunch, clean and in-expensive, you own it to yourself to try out Pho Tango!

Growing up Vietnamese and having Pho all over the west coast. I must say this place is not so great. There are very few good Pho places in the Portland metro and this is NOT one of them. The Pho broth is too sweet and loaded with MSG! I can take a small amount, but I break out when there is a lot of it. The place uses a lot of MSG because their broth lacks a good savory flavor and must depend on the flavor enhancing qualities of MSG and sugar.

We often have lunch at Pho Tango, which is very convenient from our work at Intel RA campus. Our favorite foods are fresh salad rolls, and Pho (traditional Vietnamese noodle soup). We very impress, and admire with not only the consistently delicious foods from Pho Tango, but also the excellent customer service, which Pho Tango team has been giving to customers every time. Keep in mind, great 20% discount for Intel employees! Thanks you Pho Tango.

I ate here yesterday, and the food was ok, not what I ordered, and I had to ask for my drink twice after I ordered it. The Pho or Fu, was good, light on flavor, and not the best around but acceptable. If they put some more effort into service this might be a place to come back to, but I am sure it will fail given time. The saving grace is it is the only place outside of Bvtn that is Vietnamese so it has a corner on the market and might make it in the long run.

This place is wonderful! I've been here several times and the service as well as the food is great - truly addictive. There's plenty of it and what should be served hot is, and what should be served cold is! The staff is friendly and bends over backwards to provide top notch service. I love this place whether I'm on the run or have the time to sit and enjoy! The cold noodle salads are so addictive - and the Thai iced tea is truly a treat to the palette.

I've enjoyed delicious selections from the Pho Tango fare at least a half dozen times with friends and family. A wide variety of dishes has been sampled from their robust menu, including several varieties of Pho (noodle soups), shrimp kabobs, curried rice (both vegetarian and chicken), Spring rolls, Egg rolls, 3-Color desserts, and irresistible Thai iced tea. Not a single negative vote was to be heard; on the contrary, nothing but high praise.
Judging from the brisk business and a clientele who seem to have grown up using chop sticks to eat slippery noodles (a skill not yet mastered by me and my friends), Pho Tango represents the ""real thing"" in Vietnamese cuisine.
I and my friends will return.
We watched this restaurant renovate from the pizza (way too expensive) place with great anticipation. Beaverton-Hillsboro is in great need of some good Vietnamese food; especially around the Cornell area. We weren't disappointed. The price is average - somewhere between $8 and $12 dollars, with ample portions. If you walk out of here hungry, then your appetite is super-sized. We had the salad rolls for appetizers and they were delicious with a wonderful peanut sauce for dipping. The rice vermicelli salads were so addictive and tasty; we are going to make this a regular on our restaurant crawls. Everything we saw was well presented and quite plentiful. The large table acrossed from us, filled with noisy (but pleasant) family members were served in the same curteous manner as the two of us. The hostess is a quiet woman bent on making you feel welcomed and satisfied when you leave. The place is extremely clean and well accustomed with just the right amount of art work and the tables are spaced just right - not too close so you hear your neighbor's conversations. I recommend theThai ice tea - it was great!
