My daughter loves it here! We have been going here for several years and still come here even though we moved further away.

I have mixed feelings on Peak. I like their facility and the programs. They are unique and themed for fun. We have a preschooler, so I can't speak for their competitive levels. I would warn any one with an preschooler that is slightly different, meaning high energy, sensitive, or possibly behind in one area or another. Ms. Rachel is not the teacher for you. The first teacher we had was fine, she seemed patient and was able to handle the kids. The good is the class sizes are small too. Then we got the aforementioned teacher. My child has been disciplined for making mistakes, rather then being taught. I agree with ensuring the safety of all students, but mistakes are sometimes in direct correlation to teachers not being attentive. I do not believe in making preschool age children feel as if they are "bad" for making a mistake. These are preschoolers, they will do that and therefore should be watched slightly more than say kindergarten or first grade.

I will update this if our experiences change, otherwise this isn't a fit for a non-cookie cutter kid. I also want to say that I honestly would never have written a negative review had the staff not treated me so poorly over my concerns. The reservation/front end has been pleasant.

7 years ago, we found this gym when we were looking for a place to put our daughter for a fun dance class. We are so happy to have discovered this gem of a gym! The recreational class turned our daughter's love of dance into her passion for dance. As of now, our daughter has been dancing at Peak on their competitive dance team for over 6 years. The staff and coaches at Peak are some of the best individuals you can entrust with your child. They are the best dance coaches and choreographers who not only instruct the dancers, they also demonstrate and perform the skills they are teaching to the students. They are also wonderful role models with the hearts to 'give back' to the community. The owners, coaches and staff are all very committed and wonderful people. My daughter has grown so much in her dance skills during her time with Peak. Beyond that, she has also learned how to be a leader, show great sportsmanship, and to give back to the community.

To say I am an overprotective parent would be an understatement by anyone who knows me. That said, when I drop her off to dance, I feel totally secure in knowing she is in a safe and loving environment with the coaches and staff at Peak.

On the competitive side, the teams my daughter has danced on have won multiple State and National titles year after year. The coaching staff is very gifted in the ability to bring out the best skills of each dancer and utilize them in the competitive dance routines. We have been amazed at the transformation of our daughter's dance skills and we are so happy our daughter dances at Peak. We look forward to many more years with this wonderful dance gym

This gym sucks! My girls have done gymnastics before and they evaluated them saying they need to be in the beginners class so I trusted them. My girls were doing back hip circles and the other girls in the class still needed to pass of their pullover. My girls called their class a "baby class". After that session was over I assumed they would move up to the next class, nope I was wrong!!! so we are now going to a better gym where they get challenged!

After I talked with a few women that put their daughters in Peak and they said the same thing and they left Peak because their daughters were in the same class for a year and they never moved up! So glad we left! I just felt like they wanted to get as much money out of you! So as far as the gymnastics program, I thought they sucked!

I have nothing good to say about Peak.

My children have attended Peak

My children have attended Peak Athletics for about 7 years now. Not only have they gone through the recreational program there but they have also started on competitive teams. The thing about GOOD coaching is that they PUSH your children. I think that most of the people that say they have had bad experiences with coaches just don't have thick skin whatsoever. The best coaches are the ones who are tough, hard, and have discipline. They produce the BEST athletes. I find it hard to believe that most people have had such a bad experience at this facility. I have not one time in my seven years there have seen any rudeness in any of the employees there. Everyone that works there seems to love their job and are very helpful no matter what the situation is. I highly recommend this facility to anyone and everyone. I love the owners, the general manager, and especially the front desk staff! Peak has really found a great set of people that are amazing with customer service. BRAVO PEAK! I will be there until my kids are no longer in the age range you offer!

My daughter Taylor has been invovled in

My daughter Taylor has been invovled in Dance for 4 years now and I love the direction Peak is going with their program. Nicole has been wonderful to work with and my daughter has learned such great technique from Ingrid. Her team coaches, Vanessa, Tori, and Kristen for hip hop and pom are outstanding and have really pushed Taylor this year. I am excited for the team developments for the upcoming season and can't wait to see what Peak has in store!

My Daughter has been involved with the

My Daughter has been involved with the Cheer program at Peak Athletics for 2 years now and I must say I can not be any happier with the success she has had in their program. She loves her coaches Chelsea, Theresa, and Courtney and loves the commitment they bring to their team and dedication. Hands down, no program within the state shows as well as Peak and I am very thankful for all Peak has done for her.

not my pick

My child took a trial class at this gym, and here are the good and bad points from my only visit:

1) The lady at the front desk (Ela) was nice, & got me signed up for the clsss I wanted at a time that would work for me. Trial class was free. Suggestion - none

2) The coach was nice to both me and my son. My son (age 5) was challenged, but also was able to do some basic skills. Class was ""fun"". Suggestion - none. This was great!

3) The manager (no name badge) was insulting, didn't know her product and wasn't interested in helping me. She was confronting an employee on the floor while I was there, embarassing everyone around her. This was a short & pregnant woman - mid 30's with dark hair. Suggestion - keep this person from the public eye! Have her read Management 101 - this should have been a private conversation.

4) They have a coffee bar, but it isn't open in the daytime. The menu looks OK, prices are fair and there are vending machines available. Suggestion - Maybe they could add a vending machine for cold items, and a microwave for customers to use.

5) Their store area had leotards for the girls, but nothing for boys, and was almost empty. Racks in aisle were empty and lacking signage. Suggestion - stock some merchandise for boys - and for everyone - or close the shop and use this for offices.

6) Follow up was not done. I left, and the ladies at the desk were busy (swamped), so nobody said anything to me on the way out. One week later, I still haven't gotten a call (yes, they have my phone, and e-mail and mailing address) Suggestion - call or send an e-mail, and hire some help for the registration desk, or have some duties reassigned.

7) Facility was generally clean and neat. Offered free popcorn & coffee while we waited (nice touch). Bathrooms were nice, clean and tasteful. Parking lot was clean. Building was a little tattered, with insulation hanging out. Glass could be cleaned, both inside & out. Sidewalks were in ned of repair, especially on East side. Suggestion - housekeeping staff is OK, but maintenance of facility needs halp. Contact landlord & report facility issues.

8) Initial phone contact was helpful and friendly. Dianne was polite and very agreeable. Suggestion - none.

9) Web site was attractive, simple and useable BUT information was out of date, frequent typographical errors and dead links. No ability to enroll on-line (minor), no ability to pay on-line (minor) and course descriptions were ""sketchy"" and incomplete. Suggestion - spend some time on the content, have it proofed and get it working.

10) Will I return? Probably not. Rude manager, poor follow-up and abysmal product selection.
