Established in 1955, Timber Ridge Camps hosts summer camps and offers various activities for children. Located in Highview, W.Va., its facility features cabins, recreational hall, fine arts building, skate park, game room, rocketry area, and volley ball and basket ball courts. It also maintains a nature centre, petting zoo, swimming pool, woodworking center, pottery building, golf practice areas, archery ranges, running tracks and sand pits. In addition, the camp s facility includes high jump bars, crash mats, tennis and hockey courts, soccer and football fields, photography laboratory, flying trapeze, ski house, go carting track and climbing wall. Timber Ridge Camps also organizes water sports, such as water skiing, swimming, diving, rowing, windsurfing, white water rafting, canoeing, kayaking and rope swinging.
