General Info

High Point Public Library is spread over an area of more than 65,000 square feet. The library operates through a staff of over 60 employees. It has a collection of nearly 200,000 books and approximately 600 newspapers and magazines. High Point Public Library also stocks more than 15,000 DVDs and over 10,000 audiobooks. The library receives approximately 1,000 visitors every day. It offers computer classes and maintains a public computing center. High Point Public Library operates a foundation that provides support services to develop, implement and complete ongoing planning cycles. The library hosts entertainment shows by musicians, acrobats, jugglers, magicians and storytellers. It additionally offers craft and summer reading programs. The library stocks children and medical books.
