Founded in 1920, Kiwanis Club of High Point supports education and offers local students with scholarships to High Point University and to the Guilford Technical Community College. The members of the club organize more than five Terrific Kids Programs in local elementary schools every month. The club provides a range of facilities, including weight rooms, recreation department, park playground, and arts and crafts department. The club provides assistance to under privileged children with needed Tonsillectomies. Additionally, it offers social services, such as providing assistance with food, clothing and financial assistance during natural disasters. The club also operates a hospital, habitat home, and a boys and girls home. Kiwanis Club of High Point has more than 100 Hixson Fellows and leads Kiwanis. The club is located in High Point, N.C.
