great service, reasonable prices. i have been using them since they opened and will continue to. quality is important.
I used Mark Wagner to repair my Savage Model 99 when the lever action wouldn't close. He restored my gun to working order and clean and fit for hunting again. His prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend Mark for all my gunsmithing needs.
Unlike "Cave Man", I had a great experience here. I have bought several guns from them and have had great custom work done by them. They are extremely nice and for them to call you an idiot, you must be one. Jeff does great work and if you're not satisfied with it he is always willing to go the extra mile to make it right.
I wanted to write a very clear and factual review, without sounding like I'm complaining; here goes. I brought in a very nice Miroku over under for 1.Loose Selector 2. opening hard after firing 3. Cerakote . I asked how long it would take and was told 3-5 days. Two weeks later, I had a shoot to go to, and no gun. I called, asked to get it, they said it would be ready 2 days after my call. I called again on due date, they said they never agreed to that day, but they will have it day after. When I picked up the gun, it had 2 new issues, the action would not open or get stuck and the top rib is damaged, warped and has detached from the barrel. The top selector never got fixed either, so loose it moves by itself now.. Here's the response when I showed them the top rib ; "You brought it in like that!". To be in business, one must take full responsibility of any action, never make excuses for mistakes, and never treat a customer like he's an idiot or he's lying. My final personal opinion of this place, I wouldn't trust them with a wooden stick.. Anyways, thanks for reading and I hope my review will help you decide if it's worth your money to trust these guys..
