I trust my Dr. He has helped me and he listens to me. He explains things to me, to where I can understand. Dr. Synn is the only reason I still go there. The office ladies can be rude.
My wife had a long standing appointment (she waited 8 months) to be accepted as a patient with this doctor. We drove approx. 50 miles on appointment day and arrived right on time. Upon arrival my wife presented the receptionist her i.d. and insurance information and retired to the waiting room to fill out documentation. The receptionist ( or office manager ) then came out to inform her that our insurance was not acceptable and besides, the doctor was not accepting new patients. This was after she had driven for over an hour for an appointment as a NEW PATIENT! At no time was she invited to pay with a card or cash. My wife has survived a long bout with cancer, a heroic fight with a thirty year anxiety drug addiction ( now completely clean ) and was simply looking for a trained professional to talk to. For all I know Dr. McKean is the second coming of Sigmund Freud but his office is run by a harpy in polyester with the people skills of a DMV clerk (sorry DMV - nothing personal).
This Clinic has an issue more with the staff than anything. I and 2 members of my family and 1 long time friend are being treated here. I have decided to go elsewhere because it is just too much trouble getting messages and getting the Dr. to call you back. I really dont wite reviews often but eveyone I have ever spoken to about this has the same problem. When I complained to the office manager she was just too prideful to admit they have a problem. Its not a money thing cause I have always paid to get good insurance and benefits. These people just dont think they have to offer good service
