I brought my car here because my air conditioning went out. It was close to closing, but I called first to see if they'd be willing to repair it so late. They said come on over. Jake was who I dealt with and who worked on my car. After about a half hour he came back and said they didn't find a leak and refilled the freon. The AC went out again a few days later. I sought the opinion of two other mechanics who informed me that not only did they charge me double what it should have run me, but they spent half the time they should have checking for the leak. When I called to discuss the matter, Jake said he spent fifteen minutes checking for the leak, and complained about staying "an hour late" that day to assist me. I definitely wasn't there an hour and in the first place I called before I came in to see if they'd be willing to take care of it. The other mechanics I saw said that thirty minutes MINIMUM should have been spent doing the diagnostics, ideally an hour. Lazy. If you didn't have the time to repair my air conditioning, you should not have told me you did and then done half the job. He refused to give me any kind of a refund stating that he put freon in my car. Yeah, you did, AND IT ALL LEAKED OUT. There is no way am I bringing my car back to them. At first I didn't think they were trying to rip me off, moreso they just did a hack job and didn't spend the time they needed to spend on it.. But after taking it elsewhere I found out my compressor had a FAST leak, they spent the same amount of time diagnosing it and said it was very plain to see and I indeed got ripped off. I guess they take no pride in their work and don't care about customers returning. I definitely wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone, least of all a woman on her own.

trip #1 - needed heater hose put on. no cel, running smooth

paid: $330+ 2 hours of labor (for a heater hose!?) and an oil change

returned condition: check engine light on, loss of power, hesitation



trip #2 - next day: assumed my fuel filter was clogged because of hesitation, asked to replace fuel filter.

paid: $70+

returned condition: car will barely start, alternator workshop error, engine misfiring barely drivable



I'm a college student and now I don't think I'll be able to afford books this semester because of the shop bills PILING up! This is why I always took care of my car myself. All I needed was my heater hose installed!! Care drove PERFECT when I left it!! How will I get to class now?!

prices elevate so do food , gas , as well as our daily living. i managed that store and for u guys that thinks its ran trustworthy..... mite think again. it must be about the money any its proven every day by the owner .

Beware - Upcharges

This place appears to be famous for ripping people off. I was told my 2008 Jeep needed an engine flush since the oil hadn't been changed regularly. While I was waiting, a person with a ""brand new car"" was told that due to grease used during manufacturing, his car would need an engine flush on the next visit. (His car had 500 miles on it!) I'd suggest using someone else. These guys are all about up charging. A $40 oil change cost me $140!

My Shop of Choice

I have used Kwik Kar for the past 3 years to inspect and service my vehicles. Each time the service has been impeccable, and the guys there are friendly and helpful. I am glad that they let me know when certain things should be done on my vehicles, although I do not always take the advice.



The folks at Kwik Kar allow me to leave it to the "experts" - I trust them completely, and appreciate having one less thing to worry about: my vehicles.

Mr. Vasquez. It seems that what you were looking for was an immediate fix to a problem not retaining to the oil change. We DO NOT let a customer leave our shop without the service they asked for. There also will not be a noticeable difference when you get an oil change. As far as the owner is concerned we do not give out personal information which also includes cell phones numbers and addresses for any employees including the owner. Unfortunately the owner of this facility does not come in untill after hours which leaves myself and the store manager to resolve any problems or questions any customer might have. What a rip-off !!!!

Take your car here & expect them to upsale a service not needed for 99% of all vehicles. When you get an oil change they will try to charge you for an ""oil flush."" Only about $120 for your oil change. Owner says it's necessary but ALL other dealers & service companies says its a way to scare people for unnecessary service & get them more profits. Read other reviews and go somewhere else. Went there and owner was as rude as they come !!!

The WORST customer service

I went to have my car inspected and the guys there were ok in attitude. The real problem happened after I went to drive my car and relized the battery was dead. The tech that did my inspection had left the lights on and now four hours later I couldn't start my car. I called and told someone that my car was dead because they left the lights on after the inspection. After a dead silence I simply asked ""Can someone come give me a jump?"".....""Uh, hang on."" I was within walking distance of the shop and waited on hold for some time. Finnaly I decided to hang up and try again, but I couldn't get though. I had to have my husband come help me and by the time he got there the shop had closed. I ended up buying a new battery because they had drained it so bad. When we went a few days later we politly tried to explain the situation. The manager and another tech kept cutting us off, and wouldn't even look at the paperwork we had. What really set me off was when he said it was MY fault because I did not turn the lights off. It was noon... who thinks to check lights that they never turned on?!? In the end he just said it was all our fault and to leave or he would call the police, who he personaly knows by name and have them search us and our car (with no cause I might add). This is a franchise and it shows. I hate to think what would have happened if I had major work done on my car.
