The City of Hesperia, Calif., has a population of more than 84,000 residents. It is operated under a mayor and four council members form of government. The City of Hesperia has various full-time departments and volunteer committees, including health, finance, economic development, public information, engineering, management services, parks and recreation, planning and zoning, police, public works and sewerage authority.
