I really liked going to Dr. Fried when he had his own office. Since moving to American Dental Care I have had nothing but cancellations of not only my appointments, but those of my other family members. After being cancelled for the same appointment 3 times, I'm moving on thanks to new dental insurance. This is a large dental office that doesn't seem to care about the patient at all. Would not recommend this office to anyone in the future.

DON'T GO THERE! These people are THEIVES, and will rob you blind with lies about problems with your teeth. In 2009, my wife needed a filling put in, because one of her fillings fell out. We tried to get just an appointment for that one thing. We were told you have to become a patient first, which meant x-rays, exam, ect. Reluctantly, we agreed, and scheduled an appointment to become a patient there.
When my wife was examined, they came out to me and told me it is really bad. I asked ""why? They proceeded to say she has 11 cavities, gingivitus, and needed deep scaling done on her teeth! I was STUNNED, because my wife has perfect teeth, and brushes twice a day, and had just had a dental appointment with NO problems 1 year prior with another dentist. Then they told me the cost will be $4,280.00! To which I just could not believe it! They offered me dental Insurance which would cut the cost down, which I bought it, and it would cut the price down somewhat, but the insurance was still $270. I told them to fill her tooth she needed filling, but they said it will be more money to do just one right now, and they can't do more than one now because of time. We had to reschedule again. Upon leaving the place, my wife told me a horror story about the hygenist poking hard into her teeth, and at one point PULLED OUT ONE OF HER PREVIOUS FULLINGS! They didn't even fill it on the spot, they just scheduled that to be filled with some of the other elleged cavities in TWO WEEKS!
In the meantime, I found much cheaper insurance online, which they could have offered me at the office, they didn't even thought they accept it there. When I tried to drop their insurance, they wouldn't do it, or give me a refund, so they kept the $270, even though I didn't even use it!
HIDDEN COSTS! Even with the ""dental insurance"" they STILL try to get more money out of you with excuses like, depending how deep they have to drill into the tooth (level 1,2, or 3 or so) charging more money per depth! Have you ever heard of this? ME NIETHER! Every time we went back it was NEVER what was quoted on the price sheet, and it was ALWAYS MORE. The scaling my wife had to get done, the HYGENIST told her that if she didn't get it done, that ""ALL OF HER TEETH ARE GOING TO FALL OUT""! This was the HYGENIST, not the DENTIST, and the same one that YANKED OUT HER FILLING twoo weeks prior!. I called them up and spoke to her, and asked her how she was qualified to make that deduction, and she then tried to say that she didn't say that, but then admitted she did, but insisted it was for her own good! The argument presumed for a while on the phone.
Several appointments had to be scheduled in order to get all the work completed, and EVERYTIME they added more money onto the bill. They tried ever trick in the book, like ""oh I thought you had other insurance"", or ""Oh, but that only covers this and that, but not this"". They NEVER tell you what they are going to do and the cost until you are LEAVING, then they demand their money before you can leave! We stopped going there in 2010, because it seems very clear they are ripping people off. Since then, my wife had major tooth pain in one of the teeth they filled. We ended up going to a dentist to discover she needed ROOT CANAL on one of the teeth ADC supposedly fixed!
My wife still has 3 cavities that ADC CLAIMS she needed fixed, but we never went back. This new dentist is going to do a full new set of x-rays, and exam. We did not tell him of the 3 illeged cavities in order to find out if he sees them, which I am sure he won't. THEN we are going to sue ADC, and start a class action suite against them for FRAUD and seek to get their licences REVOKED!
I suggest you go somewhere else. Ours is not the first story of this place. These Indian dentists are running a SCAM, and it seems like all the people that work there are in on it. I will update this later, and seek others to join in the class action
