The Spot Vegetarian & Vegan Restaurant

The oldest vegetarian restaurant in LA is a mainstay of the Hermosa Beach area. I've been going there since 1990 and love the savory dishes such as "Dear Bubba," a plate of brown rice smothered with pinto or black beans and their famous savory sauce along with delicious collard greens, just as good as as they make it down south! It comes with a slab of moist cornbread that I load with butter and agave syrup.
The almond brown rice salad is a real meal with fresh broccoli, tomatoes, sprouts and seasonal veggies covered with your favorite dressing. The herb dressing and the tahini dressing are world class! I always ask for more!!!

Love to have a chili omelet here on the weekend or come for tacos or a burger for dinner. There veggie burger meat is delish. Also like their iced teas and stuffed baked potatoes. This is hearty vegetarian food with vegan options.
