This may not be the newest or most modern place to eat, but the upstairs has a great view of the beach with good food and the staff are always friendly.
beware; if you want onions on your burger they will charge you $ 00.95. if you want to change your order a minute later, the waitress will snap "I guess we'll just have to throw away the food, but fine". the fries were cold like it's been sitting there for an hour. I could go on but I have other things to do

Minus the water spilled on me, this was a great night. I've been here a couple of times and enjoyed each time I've come so I decided to write them a review. It's a good place if you're looking for a lively bar at night. There are usually the most people in here so that's where I usually like to go.

My favorite part is sitting down to the brunch with the fresh, made to order omelets. When the weather's nice, there's nothing better than Hennessey's breakfast and you and your friends enjoying it. they've got the best bloody marys in the business too. They had a special and each bloody mary was 3 bucks!

This is the only bar in Hermosa Beach where you can sip your cocktail while watching the sunset go down over the entire bay, all the way from Palos Verdes to Santa Monica (on a clear day). The food is typical bar food, but its good and they often have daily specials that are great deals (Tuesday - buy one burger get one free). On weekends it gets very busy, and you will often need to wait to get a table on the roof, but it will be well worth it. Drinks are good too! Try the greyhound.

This well known bar/restaurant on the Pier is one of my favorite places to catch breakfast...especially on a sunny day. I suggest an irish bloody mary and the eggs benedict. i substitute salsa for the hollandaise. The portions are generous and I have enjoyed every breakfast dish I have ordered. The wait may be a bit long, but is worth it, and if you can wait for the rooftop, do it.

I was very disappointed in the service and the drinks here. I had ordered a cranberry vodka and they gave me straight cranberry juice. I have never had such a weak drink before at a bar and it cost $8 for that cranberry juice! The waitress didn't come by our table once after she brought our food and drinks and we had to get up to find her just to get our check. The hamburgers that we ordered were very tasty but that is the only nice thing I have to say about that place. I will not ever go back.
