I have shopped at several Publix stores near my workplace and home - the Publix in Hermitage has the least Publix hospitality of them all. At the other publix stores you are often greeted by their staff in a friendly and professional manner, especially the Nippers Corner location but in Hermitage you are invisible and the staff overall seems like they were transplanted from Kroger or Food Lion - both of which are known for poor customer service in comparison to Publix Publix should focus more attention to this sad location in Hermitage. I will say that the deli department at the Hermitage Publix is very good.
Maybe it's because I was a former Kroger customer, but I find the Hermitage Publix VERY friendly and ready to help in any way. Every employee I've talked to is couteous and seem's happy to help when asked. And I love the "deliver to your car service" with no tips accepted. The bakery is amazing...I would go for the bread alone!
Publix is the best grocery store I've ever shopped in. BOGO Sales are fantastic, employees are very friendly and seem to actually enjoy their jobs.
