Extremely dissatisfied with a hem alteration on a brand new, never worn, evening skirt! When I purchased the outfit, I was not happy with the uneven hem, but chose to pay the extra to have it leveled-out because I liked the outfit.
After some debate about how the seamstress thought the hem was supposed to be so uneven, she agreed to my request to make it even.
When I picked-up the skirt 4 days later, it appeared as though nothing was done to the hemline. There was still a 2" difference in the length around the skirt and I could see the "chalk" lines on the skirt where I presume the new hemline was supposed to be. This was followed by the debate again about how she thought the hem should be uneven (ugh!).
In addition to this issue, I noticed two oil-type stains near the bottom of the skirt, to which they claimed no responsibility.
Basically, the owner turned his back on me, saying "no charge" for the "work" and would do nothing further about taking responsibility for removing the stain.
All-in-all, a VERY unpleasant experience, and one I will never forget with this establishment. Take your business elsewhere if you care about the garment you entrust to this establishment!

I needed the lining of a dress let out a bit and needed it done immediately. I emailed Pak's to see if it was even possible to fit me in and they agreed. They fixed my dress within hours. They were kind and well priced. I'm happy I found somewhere for alterations as I'm newer to town.

They did my daughter's prom dress in May 2013. The dress style was very unique so the alteration job was very very tricky. It was also too big for her and had to be significantly down-sized. My daughter had to come in to fit / recheck three times. They worked tirelessly and very sweet every time we came to see them. My whole family fell in love with them. Pak's alteration Hendersonville highly recommended. Both thumbs up!

Pak's Alteration has such great service. They make it know to you that they care about your clothes and the way you feel about their work on them. I have gotten multiple pants and jackets there and they fixed all of them exactly the way I wanted them, every time. Amazing place. Definitely choose Pak's over others.

BEST alteration's place I have every been to! I had a high-lo one shoulder, sweet-heart neckline prom dress which I bought at a cheap price but two sizes bigger and wayyy too long. The high part of the dress was around my calves to give you an idea... I took it to two different alteration places and they both told me it was too difficult to alter... the high-lo part was a difficulty but the top part of the dress was also very delicate too handle. Almost out of hope, I went to Pak's Alteration and they told me they would give it a try. They cared so much about how the dress looked and fit on me, they asked me to come in multiple times just to make sure that I liked it! Of course, I LOVED my prom dress, everybody asked me where I got it and all, but they never knew that Pak's Alteration had re-remade that dress just for me :)

Overall

will never go to Pak Alterations again. After losing my daughter's Prom dress, they didn't complete it as promised, by the due date. Once found they said it would be done 2 days later. I went in and demanded they do it that day. They agreed, then charged $75 OVER what was originally quoted to us. After getting the dress home, we found that the dress was hemmed so weird that it was twisted and the dress material and tullie was longer on one side than the other. The dress was also hemmed to high, making it impossible to wear a hoop skirt with it. The tullie was also not cut straight. They were rude and inconsiderate of my daughters special day coming up. I can advise, NEVER GO THERE!!!

Told an alteration would cost $50.00 and the dress would be altered in 4 weeks. The dress needed a hem. Called on the day it was to be done and they lost the dress within the store. They found the dress and it was not done. They hung up on us four times trying to find out about when the dress was going to be done. Finally had to drive to the store and raise heck and they got the dress done. Not for the $50,00 quoted, $131.00!!! WHAT!? After a heated conversation, I ended up having to pay $99.00, just to get out of there. DO NOT GO HERE!!! RUDE.

If you dont want t o wear your clothes ever again

I recently took three pairs of pants for my son here to have alterations done. When i picked them up they were butchered. Then I tried to let them fix them they pieced other blue jean material to the pants which look a mess. I asked for a refund and the lady started talking in her native language to her husband and thought i could understand but joke on her I DID!!!( trying to say it was my fault but i didnt cut and alterate the pants.plus they measure before i left didnt think they would cut three more inches off) I only got money back for to pairs and didnt get the$30 dollars back for alteration and these were expense jeans!!!! If you like giving your money away and rebuying the samething then I would go here but if your Like me and just want the job you paid for done and right go somewhere far far away from these people
