I have always been against daycares, but when my personal at home babysitter bailed last minute, not only did I have to miss work, but I also had to do the unthinkable...find a daycare. KK came recommended by an aquaintance so I called them. I work 3 12 hour shifts and their hours were perfect for my schedule. I went by unannounced to take a look around. Nowhere would have been good enough for my 3 month old child, but in an emergency I decided to use KK. I thought this would only be very temporary, but it has been 2 months now and I have been pleased with them. It was a little bit of a rough start with communication, however, once I laid it out that I am OCD and neurotic about my child, they understood where I stand and they have been VERY good! In my line of work (medicine) if you didn't write it down, it didn't happen. I use this philosophy with them as well and they write EVERYTHING down. They send her clothes, diapers, wipes, sheet etc home every single time so I can wash them because I don't leave stuff there. The motto, "You get what you pay for" doesn't really apply here because their prices are very affordable and I feel like my daughter is in great hands! Kerrie F.

My daughter has been in the day Care for a little over a year now and only have had one issue when she moved up classes, the teacher just gave me a bad vibe I couldn't put my finger on it. One day she said something that set me off. I went to the front desk told them and asked if she could go back to her old classroom. And of course it wasn't a problem, actually that teacher ended up getting fired like a month later. I guess she rubbed a lot of Mom's the wrong way.To talk about how much my child has learned since being there. She is 2 and a half. She knows her abc, how to count to 20! Yes I said 20! And most of her colors! Not to mention all the fun cute songs she comes home to sing to me that she learned at school. They also read books all the time to the kids. And paint and do fun projects for them to take home to their mommy's and daddy's. Which is always a plusAll in all I wouldn't want to take my child anywhere else moving away so I have to but I would recommend it to everyone
Wow. If it isn't obvious that Sandi K. was a disgruntled worker, let me tell you the things i asked from her watching my baby...learn his name. In a span of a few weeks i got other babies bottles, clothes and other things in his bag. I think its crazy that she is accusing these people of not loving on a baby because she would be the first one to put my child down. Ask her right now who my child is and i bet she has no idea. Would you leave your baby with someone who could not remember your baby's name after 6 weeks? I don't think that is too much to ask. Way more important than the allegations that she is bringing to the table, in my opinion. (BTW my baby was not the one who missed a feeding-unless she couldn't remember who she just fed?!?!?!)
I am shocked by the review given by Sandi K. of this excellent center. I am one of the parents at Clairmont, and had complained about Sandi. The director and assistant director assured me they would talk with her. Just because you have credentials as a neonatal nurse doesn't mean you have credentials as a loving nursery worker. I love Clairmont and would not trust my children anyplace else. Sandi did not 'leave' after two months, but was let go before her probationary period was completed. It sounds to me that this is a good example of a disgruntled employee that is on the attack. It's sad when this kind of thing happens.
Every day you walk in the school, your greeted by the friendly people at the front desk. The director, Amanda Davis will help you and your child get comfortable and give you such piece of mind! The staff know all the children and create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is evident that the teachers are knowledgeable, loving and truly enjoy what they do. We love being an Academy family!!
The management has selected an outstanding staff to facilitate best instructional practices. I have two children enrolled, who have exemplified tremendous educational growth that has prepared them to be contributing students in their school of zone. The curriculum engages, equips, and empowers children to be successful life long learners.
Rusty you must be talking about another daycare ... This daycare is owned by a lady named Viola and run by her daughter Kim Acevedo..... I am one of the drivers and we all have current driver licenses and the required training !
This has to be a mom that either didn't want to pay her bill or a past employee that was fired or let go. I have never witnessed any of this at KWA. Please check it out for yourself.
We love it! My little girl loves going. Very happy.
