My son had a birthday party scheduled at the bowling alley today. We arrived ten minutes before the actual party was booked for to be told that our party was going to have to be rescheduled or postponed. Since my son is only 7 years old, you can imagine the reaction his friends, their families and he all had not including mine and my husband's. To make matters worse, they confessed to a friend of mine they knew about the need for a change THREE DAYS prior to the party, but never once did they think to consider to call. We had to find a new location with a short amount of notice which ended up being the local pizza hut. I called the manager back after we left the party. He did not have a solution aside from me rescheduling my son's party and accommodating us. He asked what I thought would be fair, which my reply was a call three days ago would have been nice. Then he tried to get me to pick a solution without offering one, which I in turn told him he was in charge of customer service and he should have a solution instead. Needless to say, our family will not be going back in to this facility. They lost a LOT of money from our family and friends today.
