I took this horrible piece of s*** of a cab if it's a cab if they're even license 6 months ago all the other cabs were booked up I had worked 10 hours that day been on my feet all day have not ate or anything after waiting 30 minutes the drunk ass cab driver which I know he was or on some kind of drugs flew up on the curve almost hit the sidewalk and the people sitting by side me looked at him like he was crazy which he is so I I yelled and said you almost hit me and what is wrong with you he started cussing at me and telling me if I didn't like it I had didn't have to get in even though I didn't want to get in it cuz I was so tired I got in he tells me I need to pay him up front I told him he's full of s*** like I live I have lived in a big city and you do not do that you pay when you arrive at your destination so as we were going downtown he said you need to pay me or I'm going to let you out right in the middle of the highway and he stops and I told him I was going to report his ass he told me to get out anyway you know I didn't like to feel like that if I wasn't so tired I had no other way home and it only cost me $11 from where I work to my apartment he told me to give him a $20 bill he needs to be put in jail he is a piece of s*** he needs his face smashed in the ground and they do not need to drive cabs when you're in a business working for people you respect people you don't know what is going on in people's life he will get what's coming to him this just makes me Furious even talking about it so please don't ever call these people and don't call Yellow Cab either they're just as worse so if you want a good cab company call Asheville taxi they're really nice there fast and call Uber thank you

Outrageous Owner

Whatever you do, do NOT use this company. My wife and I were at the Asheville airport needing a ride to pick up our car which had work done on it while we were out of town. I knew that this was a very short fare which would not be popular, but couldn't walk because my wife is recovering from an auto accident. The driver was very courteous and although disappointed with the short fare, was willing to take us. However, when he radioed his boss (George Scott) to tell him about the fare, George began a tirade towards the driver which was unbelievable. He told the driver to RETURN US TO THE AIRPORT, and that he was going to charge the DRIVER a $40 fine for being so stupid as to accept us. I don't know, but I would expect that this cab company has an agreement with the city to accept any and all fares in order to be able to pick people up at the airport.

I WOULD NEVER USE THIS CAB FOR ANY REASON!!!! The owner is obnoxious! I give them one star only because I can't give them a zero

If I could leave a negative star review, I would. This company is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They picked my 87 year old mother up one hour late and she missed her flight. When I called to give feedback and ask for an explanation I was told by George that she was an adult over 21 and that it was her fault that she got in the cab if she didn`t think that she was going to make it in time for the flight. Then I was hung up on. Their motto is "Quck, reliable service". Blatant lie.

My sister-in-law and I used this cab company to deliver and retrieve us to and from downtown Hendersonville and the hotel we were staying at. The cab that picked us up stunk so heavily of smoke that it almost gagged us. When we got picked up, I left a small bag of purchases and an envelope of cash in the cab. I called about it and they said nothing was turned in and they couldn't be bothered to have the current driver to look for it. Sent an email and called twice to the owner George Scott. Haven't heard a thing yet. If your plan is to do the responsible thing and use a cab when you plan on drinking, DO NOT use this company because they will NOT be honest and return anything left in their cab and the dispatcher is such a hillbilly you can hardly understand the rude man. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL !!!!!

What an A$$HOLE. Here is a summary of my conversation: Hi, can you help me with taxi service for my rehearsal dinner in Sylva? We only serve Asheville, so it would be .4/mile at 48 miles just to get to Sylva. Oh, well the yellow pages add says serving Cullowhee area. Well, I guess we assumed people were smart enough to know better. Are you insulting me? Well, what do you think? Sir, the reviews of your company are exactly consistent with my experience, so I will write a review of this phone conversation. Response: Who cares. Are you kidding me??? Someone please open a rival company and kick these guys out of business.

Thank you elderly 1 and outragous owner. You are right it is often the driver and not the company who is helpfull. Not all drivers from any company are helpful,its usually just the selected few. Thank you elderly 1 for letting us know details of why their customer service is so great. I hate it when ppl say their customer service is great and end it there, why? Do you know the drivers name? Can you share it? If your driver is ever not available, we use big Jon from blue birds who does the exact same thing and will lift wheelchairs,scooters etc in to the car and put grocerys in the cab and call your destination in before turning the meter on and he is really fun to talk to, most of his customers are either elderly or petlovers or both. But he would never dream of taking another drivers personal away from him, so only call for him when your current driver is unavailable. Outrageious owner, big jons dispatcher told him one time when we had a trip planned way in advance to pick up someone else instead ofus. He told her no and came to get us. Last sat around 1:30 or so she was really rude to us over the radio where all the drivers on duty that day and all the passengers who were with them could hear it. The same ppl could also hear big Jon batting for us and defending us and telling his dispatcher to stop being so rude to us, he used the same radio. When she told him he worked for her he said " no I dont work for you, we work for the customer,thats who we work for".So either use the same driver elderly1 used or call blue bird and ask for big Jon to pick you up. I am an elderly lady who rides the Checker Cab about 2 or 3 times a week. This company is one of the best in the area. I have a walker that I have to use and the drivers always help me into and out of the cab. They also load and unload my groceries. They are very safe drivers and they are rarely on the phone while driving, which makes me feel very safe. I enjoy looking forward to my outings every week because the drivers are so friendly. I would recommend this company to anyone who is in the Hendersonville area.
