I love the size of this store and the bright lighting, there is so much space and large cutting counters. It would be great if they had sales a bit more often. I also like the fact that they have such a nice selection of Kaffe fassett, amy Butler, and other large scale prings. I find the fabric choices quite cherry, but they also have a nice selection of other prints as well. and the book selections are great. cuz some times we just need to be inspired.
I am a sometime local in Vegas. I am so glad that I discovered Quiltique. I have taken classes and taken advantage of fun sales and great staff when I am in town. Everyone is helpful and friendly and more than happy to help out a visitor! The fabric selection is fun and varied. I have found fabric here that is not offered in my mid west shops. But i t is about the staff really... knowledgeable and friendly!!!!!!
I live in Lake Havasu City, AZ, and EVERY time I am in Las Vegas I HAVE to go to my favorite place -- Quiltique. I find ALL my sewing, machine embroidery and quilting needs all in this one fabulous shop. Not to mention, the prices are so reasonable.......I only wish we had this shop in Lake Havasu!!!!!
I read all the reviews and I will unfortunally have to agree (a little) with the person that wrote about some of the sales clerks do act a bit upide at times. However, there are so many more great people there than the few that may have had a bad day. Everyday they have some sort of class for you to take and there is great fellowship. I decided to take up quilting the "correct" way while living here in Las Vegas and have throughly enjoyed all this shop has to offer me. You don't have to shop anywhere else for your quilting and sewing needs (they have it all). Come check it out for yourself. They even go to a lot of expense and send out this awsome news letter (book). Come join the fun, you won't be dissapointed. I forgot to mention they have a HUGE classroom and even alow you to use their Bernia machines. How awsome is that!!!! Hope to see you at a class soon :)
Quiltique is a wonderful place! In addition to fabric, I have purchased furniture and taken several classes. I had problem with the one of the Koala cabinets I bought and it was rectified in record time. The Tibesar family (the owners) and their staff provide wonderful service. This quilt shop is worth the trip from just about anywhere.
Quiltique is the best quilt store in the area. Their selection of fabrics, patterns, threads and accessories is fantastic. The lighting in the store is by far the best in the area. You can really see the colors of the fabrics. The folks that work there are top notch, always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help.
Even though it's quite a drive from my home, I take the time to visit Quiltique whenever I'm in the area. I've developed rapport with the owners and staff over the years and I refer friends and quilters to the shop...especially for Oriental fabrics, batiks, new lines, well organized kits (with samples evident), Kay, the super Bernina lady, and great charitable projects.
They provide excellent carts to stack fabrics for your project and they also carry my favorite thread...Aurafil, in many colors. I'm impressed that Jennifer monitors reviews and replies to complaints. I haven't noticed any other stores doing this. It's easy to write and trash a place because you had one bad experience, but isn't it nicer to compliment a store on something that they're doing well? If quilters don't support the shops that feature quality fabric, we'll be forced to settle for crusty Joann fabric or resort to all of our purchases by mail order. I prefer to go into a store to fondle the fabric and dream up new projects in my head as I wander the aisles.
This store has also recommended my quilting services to many local customers who need help with their projects. It's a win-win situation. They get what they need and I enjoy doing it for them! As a former quilt shop employee, I appreciate the staff who go out of their way to be helpful and polite whenever I visit the shop.
Every time I shop at Quiltique I get the best service, if I have questions there is always someone to help me with my queries. Whether it is looking for a specific material, a book or signing up for a class. It is always a pleasant experience whenever I shop and or take a class at Quiltique. Thank you Quiltique for making available to quilters fine fabrics, patterns, and just an a sundry of items. Most of all your wealth of knoweldge in and out of the classroom.
Your quilting friend, Joan Collins
