They dont' deserve even 1 star !This is going to be extremely honest...but not too pleasant. I would never, ever begin to recommend anyone to reside here - or to even consider it. The apartments are generally clean and there is Security at night (those are the plusses allowing for the 1-star). The Security team is excellent - especially the one individual I would encounter from time to time. The neighbors are generally "obnoxious" (and the front office is simply not responsive). There is also a constant smell of marijuana all over the place which is undesirable. The office is also not responsive to phone calls, concerns, safety issues or handyman requests. How sad - how discourteous and unprofessional. On a final note, this must be mentioned. The property manager at Solevita (name will not be used) is not only about as curt and rude as can be, but is also unresponsive and could care less about her residents. That is a promise - take it to the bank.Charges are made upon moving out that were mistakes and legal action had to take place to ensure that the property manager was under the clear impression that no games were being played. People do not have the patience for this, and simply do not tolerate it. I had lived there for a year and made every rent payment on-time and was an extremely courteous and quiet renter. As of this afternoon, I was verbally abused by the office and was virtually "tossed" out by the Property Manager who has some hard lessons to learn. This was not tolerated and she was put in me place last week. Any more games from this property, and they will find themselves in court - and quickly. I would rank this property among the worst in the Henderson / Green Valley area. Period....For future residents: NEVER EVER rent here. I had so many problems. The property manager is one of the main problems with this place. She is unfriendly, rude and abrasive. Simply put, she is the definition of "nasty". The only friendliness is used as a "lure" to get you to lease there. Stay away! For current residents: If & when you decide to move out of this place (which you will.....), be sure that you look at the FINAL AND COMPLETED charges and be very wary of the tricks that the office will try to play on you to get your money unfairly. Be ready/ prepare the agreement state that after this final , you don't have responsibly for any extra cost. If you walk through with them, be sure to give notes and sign every details on the list then need to have signature for both sides. Protect yourself !NEVER EVER CONSIDER FOR STAYING HERE. Solevita is low-end and basically a TRAP....borderline EVIL.
This place was the worst experience in my life I moved in to an apartment that had a hole in the closet and a leaking air conditioner I'm not joking it took 7 visits a 2 months later to get the leaking cooler fixed the handy man has no idea what they are doing I came across this problem every time something broke the dryer the since etc...in the summer they were infested with cockroaches I would walk to my car at night dodging them gross...it took 2 weeks showing up at the office every morning to get bug guy out I finally get to move out and they never send me my deposit I call over and over for 4 months they tell me there working on it and be paint 4 months is nothing some people have been waiting a year! I finally get a hold of the manager 5 months later and she tells me that I do not get a deposit back something with the carpet that happen to cost exactly what my deposit was ! W.o.w I can't belive these people are still on business
I have been trying for 3 months to get my refundable deposit back. I spent $100- on cleaning services to make my old unit better then when I moved in. I moved in 2 years ago and gave them a walk through sheet. Now that sheet has disappeared form my file suddenly. They did not want to replace or clean my carpet when I moved in. Repairs took weeks & months before they got fixed. Lots of times they didn't even fix it. The repair men there put a band aid over it until it broke again and put another band aid over it. My upstairs neighbor had a flood on her balcony and no hot water for days when her water heater broke. She called the emergency repair line and still had to wait several days! The staff is so unprofessional, beyond rude, & coniving. It is a property run by theives!! Claiming all these non existent violations towards myself & several other residents inside the community! They will not reopen my case because it's closed, & refuses to look at my proof. I have pictures of before and after. The after looks better then before. The staff calls me foul names over the phone and expects me to remain calm. Solevita is run down community. We see all these beautiful pictures onln and yet the pools remain filthy. The grounds are barely maintained for a fake look. The bbq pits are removed from the ground and they have left the holes. The hot tubs are non working, the playgrounds are a danger zone, & the horseshoe/ volleyball court is a joke. I have never been so appalled at the lack of concern and welfare for people. To the point where they open the pool after repairs, & finding pieces of wire flooting inside the pool. They keep raising the rent each year and nothing improves.
Please do not rent from here! The HOA management is horrible, rude and unprofessional. It's their way or no way. They do not appreciate a great communicating tenant relationship. If you enjoy hating your place of residence than this place is for you. They need NEW professional HOA management. Lots of residence there felt the same way, easy to make your life difficult then drive off property and careless. Consider yourself warned!
Do not live here. the place is a scam. They took my refundable deposit and never gave me back. They said it was applied toward other things that I never agreed to pay. It was $860 deposit and they did not return a cent. They just want to cheat and get your money
FOR YOUR SAFETY DO NOT MOVE HERE! Let me tell you this place and the streets around it are a death trap.there was big time homicide here and I will bet any money they wont tell you if you are getting the apt that a mother and son were murdered in. Oh thats not the only thing that has happened here but thats the main one that stands out. Cops are in and out of here more then i see at a police station! I witness at least 1 accident every month. I have never seen so many accidents on the same block in my life. 1 car flew into the air and flipped over twice. Another had a lady trapped in her car with both legs broken. it took them hours to get her out. Now let me point out I said I witness at least 1 accident every month. That does not count the screech and booms I hear at least once a week. Always around this apt complex. Now you might think ok go the safer route and drive in from the side gate they have on sunridge hieghts...well i'm here to inform you if you are coming home after 7pm you can forget about it. That gate does not work and they never plan on fixing it. oh and dont get me started on trying to contact management to resolve any issues, Its a joke. The manager is never in. I mean NEVER! The other people who work in the office are a farce. They are just there for show. Because they can't handle any issue. They will always always refer you to the manager. Which means your issues will never be resolved. I'm not talking about big issues either. I'm talking about tiny issues that anyone in office should be able to handle but don't or won't. What that reason is? I have no idea. They are really good at signing a lease with you but thats about it. OH and the pool is always always high in chlorine. They actually got shut down by the health department for it. Did they bother to notify the tenants? NOPE they sure didnt. People were walking to the pool ready to swim only to find a note by the health department and chains and locks on the gate. They can put there monthly newsletter on your door but thats about it. Anything you will need to know for your health or safety will NOT be made known to you. I just laugh at what a joke this place is. There are more people moving out then moving in. But if you really care about your safety or health do your family and yourself a favor and refrain from moving here. Oh and i would like to mention because this place allows pets when it rains there is a very sour terrible smell in the air. It's like living in a sewer. I dont know what it is about this place but I have lived in areas that allowed pets and it never stank like that, never. there is just something very wrong with this place.
Moved in about 2 1/2 months ago. All I can say about management is they don't want to deal with their tenets. Around the time I moved in, TWO of my neighbors were moving out. They both had terrible things to say about management. I thought they were just disgruntled soon-to-be-former tenets who were moving on to a seemingly "better situation". However, I think I'm beginning to understand why they held such harsh criticism.About two months ago, we had a double homicide at our complex. After finding out about the incident, I went to the office and spoke to two reps inside. One a young girl, the other an african american male. They BOTH said that I should not be worried or concerned for my family, because they have worked in worse places, like Compton, CA, and I shouldn't "over-react". That might be easy for them to say, but they completely rejected any safety concerns I had about the apartment complex and my family. Also keep in mind, nobody knew what had happened, at the time. Oh, by the way... WE ARE NOT IN COMPTON, CA! Or else my rent would be significantly cheaper...Remember the two neighbors from above? They both found out where I was parking, and that it was a bit of a hike to get from my unit to my car. They both suggested I contact the office once they leave, and have them change parking assignments. The second family even mentioned they had our parking until they requested a closer one. This family also had a special-needs, mentally-underdeveloped child that required several hospital visits per week. They said it took a while, but they were approved for the parking assignment change. They recommended we ask management for a change of assigned parking once they left, especially since the spot they were in was originally assigned to our unit.Today I went into the office to make the request. I spoke with the black guy who was they only front office person available. He said he couldn't do the change because it would violate the Fair Housing Act and, if the company were sued, he would lose his job.... what?! This guy either doesn't know what the Fair Housing Act is, or he tried to pull a fast one to get out of making the change of assigned parking. His demeanor and cantankerous attitude leads be to believe the latter.I now understand why my former neighbors held less-than favorable views regarding this management team. Below is a list of things to watch out for, if you choose to ignore this and others' reviews of the property.1. Do not get a floor unit - after you move in, within a month, your unit will be infested with cockroaches. Management has a contract with an exterminator, but they are terrible. You will have to hire your own if you live downstairs.2. Do not be fooled by the model units - After we moved in, none of the "nice" amenities were there. No new stove, no new carpet, no new washer/dryer, no ceiling fans, no paint job, the blinds were terrible (and still have not been fixed, after numerous requests). And don't expect them to reveal this "small" discrepancies, either.3. Previous reviews were correct; outside looks nice, but the inside is reminiscent of a "projects" unit. Poor quality, overall. Small sinks and small water heaters make daily activities, like washing dishes, taking showers and doing laundry, irritating.4. My wife and I have been inundated with telemarketers ever since we moved in - I believe a previous reviewer had it right, management takes and sells your information to outside companies for profit. Your rent just isn't enough, anymore.Actually, the units are not THAT bad. Its just that poor management always ends up bringing out and exaggerating issues current tenets might have with the units they occupy. Good management always results in tenets overlooking and forgiving the same problems. You now how it goes. Anyway, avoid if you can and rent a house instead...
I have lived here for 2 years. They have fixed my sink twice and it's still broken, been waiting over a month for a fan part, maintenance is slow, they don't know how to fix anything properly, only temporary fixes that last a week or so, & staff treats residents like crap. I asked them to come into fix my fan, it was after 5pm and a week later before they finally came in. I left a note to close the door after themselves and I get a note on my couch stating they can't work with animals in the house. They have worked many times before with my cat in the house. Just a cat who hides when there is new people around. Recently Memorial Day weekend they drained both pools. They didn't bother to clean them at all & started to fill them back up. The second pool they left the lights out of the wall as they filled it and created a short in the system. That costs more money to fix & closed the pool down during a busy weekend. They finally got it fixed on Tuesday and started to fill the pool again. Slight problem again, they did not clean the pool at all. Staff is very lazy and rude. The security team they hired finally got there act together and started to patrol the complex instead of hiding out in the maintenance rooms. They advertise this pretty property with sparkling pools (not), bbq pits (that don't work), pretty landscaping, & affordable prices. A few things I do like about the complex are that it's fully gated at all times, the price, location, and safety. That is the only reason it even got a 1 star rating from me,
