Don't ever do a service in Hempstead Ford Lincoln - Hempstead, NYAvoid at all costs!!Service Director - Robert Spalletta(Total scumbag)Service Advisor - Karen Wunderlich(She is a kind person but have to get approval from that scumbag Robert Spalletta)Customer No. - 169341Customer Name - Naveen AlexVehicle Model - 2013 Ford F-150 Raptor SVTVIN - 1FTFW1R69DFC53200Warranty - Ford ESP Premium Care R.O. Date - 6/16/17Invoice Date - 6/23/17 and then took in back on 6/23 and got it on 7/13Invoice No. - LICS943611Invoice Amount - $358.41(Including $100 deductible for Premium Care) Got the truck back from Hempstead Ford service, I took the car in for 3 issuesIssue 1: The front end makes a lot of noise when going over potholes, drifts to one side when going over some small bumps on the highway over 60 m/hr. - Those service guys could not even diagnose it and they changed some bushings, links and messed up my wheel alignment which I did with another Ford Dealer about 2 weeks before giving it to Hempstead Ford. They refuse to fix it or even look at it saying it's fixed and that Robert Spalletta asked me to get out of the service center as they don't work on my truck anymore. They refused to fix my wheel alignment or take a drive with me so that I can show it's not fixed.Issue 2: Squeak from the rear when taking off from a stop at low speeds.- Hempstead Ford made me change rotors and brake pads saying that its coming from the brake pads/rotors. It was from the rear suspension springs and they finally fixed it with a lot of trail and error.Issue 3: Annoying noise coming from the brake pedal like that of spring getting pulled under tension & released. This has nothing to do with brake pads or rotors. As it is the sound from the pedal - Hempstead Ford made me change rotors and brake pads.Issue 1 & 3 is not fixed. They made me change rotors and brake pads unnecessarily.
I went to find out where noise was coming from. Waited 3 hours went to speak to a service person and I was told the issue is with the drive belt. I agreed to fixing it. Waited another hour. Not the drive belt...but it may be with the transmission or starter. Went home, I was then told I would get a followup call at 5:30pm that day. By 5:45pm I called and I was told everyone in service left and that there was nothing that could be done. Monday August 1. I'm now told the problem was with the Idler pulley and I would have to pay $120 to have it tightened. In order for you to do the drive belt you have to go through the idler pulley, so why am I being charge for this. I called two additional location and was told I shouldn't be charged for the idler pulley. The only great thing I got here is the sales team...They're very nice. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION FOR SERVICE. THEY'RE SCAMMERS... GO TO VALLEY STREAM OR ANY OTHER LOCATION!!!!!
After paying $132.00 on an air condition piece they decided to charge me $586.00 on labor cost only to have the Air condition work for only 1 day and had to bring it back to the service the next. Once at service I demanded to speak to the manger Jimmy Lennon who I spoke to the night before surely guarantee I would be in first and out the door before my shift at work. After 5 hours of no answers, watching the services reps joke around behind their desks and waiting around I was indeed late for work because of course the car was not ready and needed more work. COMPLETE NIGHTMARE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.
This dealership needs to be shut down. They are not business people they are con artists and liars. My experience with them was one of the worst experiences with humanity I have ever had.
It seems like this dealership has made quiet a few errors with return lease bills/ early lease termination bills. I shouldn't have any money due on my old lease since i got into a new car with them, not only did NMAC take a credit I had on my account (In March) and applied it to the amount owed (because Nissan of Garden City didn't pay it off) but it also didn't take care of the full amount it said i still owed $777, I tried reaching out to my sales person (Ron) who forgot I called and emailed multiple times. I called many times since my purchase and I have left voice mails with no return. When I did get in touch he said he would take care of the issue. That was in Febuary and it is now June! I shouldn't have to deal with this stress!!
Belma,Can you please provide me Email ID for General Manager at Nissan of Garden City. One I found from website and emailed is bouncing back. Also I am waiting for your response on my below email.I am suffering financial loss and mental distress due to error/mistake made by your dealership. Also I have researched about explanation you gave me on phone that mistake is done because of my last name. You told me that we have lot of “PATEL’” as customers so during entering data mistake happened.I disagree, as when you go for servicing car, they use your registration or VIN to pull data from system. And if I never been to location it should not be with you.I am thinking of going to small claim court and to Nissan about negligence which your dealership made. Please respond me.ThanksVaibhav Patel
Terrible place to get your car serviced. They will rip you off and claim they said things. The manager is of no use hiding in his office and not answering the phone. This place runs a SCAM and will RIP YOU OFF. RUN FAR AWAY.
