To anyone who remembers this cold soup made from "sour Grass" -will be delighted and for some it will bring back those earlier times alive. The soup is actually made from Sorrel a sour herb vegetable and a little egg yolk and a bit of salt. The taste brings alive the memory of child hood, as my Father loved this soup, served cold and it must have a healthy dollop of real sour cream. Please do not add no fat or some other artificial substitute for real sour cream. The taste is indeed, sour, some will call this "Sour Grass" soup. When juxtaposed, sour cream tastes sweet, because sorrel is quite sour. It is addictive each spoon full calls out for another. It takes discipline to fend off the allure vegetable soup version of limited fat 'potato chip snack forschpice, I recommend that you leave the dollop of sour cream intact and to take only some of it on each spoon you eat. taking just a bit of sour cream on each spoon reveals wonderful layering of flavor.

It is a real treat.

We like Gold Ketchup with horseradish. when traveling to NJ we purchased many bottles in the supermarket. We now live in California and cannot find this product. We called Gold's and were told they do not ship glass bottles!! I looked on your website but $20.65 for one bottle is utterly ridiculous.

HELLO, THIS IS MEANT TO BE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. YOU HAVE THE BEST HORSERADISH SAUCE ON THE MARKET(I USE THE HOT). I TRIED YOUR TARTAR SAUCE (0 41740 00020 2) AND FOUND IT TO BE MUCH TOO SWEET. TRY "WOEBLER'S". I THREW YOUR TARTAR SAUCE OUT -- IT WAS THAT BAD --EVEN AFTER I ADDED MY OWN HORSERADISH. SORRY, BUT THAT'S THE TRUTH. THANK YOU. BOB FERRETTI
