I've been to this place several times whenever my budget was tight and I've needed a quick trim but I wouldn't suggest having any other services done here. From my experience the stylists don't stay updated with current styles, techniques OR products and since most of them have been there for what seems like forever, they appear to be completely BORED with their jobs, and it shows. The overall feel of the atmosphere is extremely unprofessional, uncomfortable and kind of dismal and you really have to watch what the person is doing depending on who you get. Some are worse than others. The decor and the condition of this store is also lacking. They could really use a good face lift to make it more pleasant for their customers and advise the stylists to stay up front to greet people who walk in rather then crawl out from what seems to be some sort of employee lounge in back. It would certainly make a better impression.
Being the type of person who prefers a traditional barber shop I tend to be particular where I get my hair cut. Happy Joe's barber shop has been at the same Hemet location for over 30 years. They are a family oriented business and do women's and children's haircuts equally well. Catering to the young, the old, and anyone in between, the barbers are warm and friendly and I am sure you will find one to suit your specific need. Services include the full assortment of hair care and the latest in trends. If you need a haircut in Hemet, then Happy Joe's is the place that I recommend.
i just moved to this area and i saw a sign with their specials on Devonshire rd so i went in and was greeted by the front desk who might i add was very nice. i didnt know until after i visited the salon they have a barber shop, tanning beds and a nail tech there. i got my hair cut by Nichole who is the owner. She did a great job on my pixie cut.. and i'm SUPER picky. I will return to see Nichole again and i so happy i went to them.
I prefer the owner to do my hair, but top quality business, service, friendly. I have never had a bad experience here. Not "cheap", but worth it.THEY ARE NOT CLOSED.... they moved locations from the Walmart center to further North on Sanderson.... but, didn't close.Web site link is not to our Hemet Cutting Edge Salon. Yelp gets 2 stars, The Cutting Edge gets 5!
Went to Cutting Edge, the salon is awesome I must say, it is a Salon with a full service Barber Shop in the back. I saw Nichole she gave me the perfect color highlights, and my boys went to the Barber Shop and got there hair cut by Michael while they waited. It's great not having to make two stops, glad I found them.
The store owners were nice and friendly! The store was immaculate as far as cleanliness. They carried the most popular brands of hair and you are not overwhelmed with choices like most beauty supply stores that are over packed with hair. I will definitely be patronizing this store again!
Every 6 weeks I drive 500 miles to ROBYN KERRY SALON an SPA to get my hair done! It is worth it to have a stylist like Robyn. She knows her color and current hair trends, never had a bad experience! Love the upscale atmosphere and the clothing boutique always has the latest fashions!
I have used this barber shop since I moved to Hemet eight years ago. I highly reccomend going here for a good haircut. All of the staff are freindly and professional. You can walk in any time with out an appointment and the prices are reasonable.
Excellent service. I was pampered by every one. First manicure I've had in years. Thank you Pamela. And Robyn I love my haircut and color. It was fun running into friends and catching up on "Hemet" doings. Robyn`s Salon is our local "Cheers"
They have great hair stylists that won't damage your hair. I have to say if your looking for the best at affordible prices this is the place. Thank you Debbie and marissa I'll be back
