I brought my 86 year old Mom all the way from South Jersey to see the baby animals - something she loves. The walk into the farm was difficult to her with her walker but one of the owners came to her rescue by bringing a gold cart to transport her in. That kindness noted, I always want to say that the grounds are kept beautifully and clean, hand sanitizer EVERYWHERE. The animals were kept well, looked content and all visitors looked happy to be there. The parties going on for children were well accommodated. Our guide was very sweet, knowledgeable and very kind to my Mom's pace. Thank You, Thank You, Thank you! For your kindness, consideration and beautiful animals to look at, touch, and cuddle. Older folks would be delighted with what you offer.Ila
We had Green Meadows farm bring a petting zoo and pony for tides to our home for our daughter's birthday party. The idea of having a zoo and rides went over well but what really made the party was the choice of using Green Meadows. They brought a huge selection Of animals. The animal handlers interacted great with all the children. They set up early, cleaned up while yhe animals were here and had all the kids help bring the animals back to the trailer. I will be using them again. It was well worth the price and they went abovr and beyond.
I recently had the traveling petting farm come to my daughters Big Top Circus Birthday and it was absolutely amazing! Thank you Mary Beth! You guys were sweet and kind and cleaned up after the animals! I can't wait to do this again! Highly recommended!
I went to Green Meadows Farm with my son last year and we really had a good time. The staff was very professional and friendly. We decided to go again this year and I can say that I will never go again. Here's what happened: We were running a little late (it was 3pm when I decided to call the farm). I called the farm before we left the house to see if we had enough time to do everyhing (see the animals, pick pumpkin and go on the hayride). They told me we did (they said the farm closed at 5pm). So we decided to go (we live about 15 minutes away). After we paid the admission they told us that the last hayride was at 3pm (they never told me this over the phone). I was a little upset, but nothing serious. Then they told us that we can walk around the farm to see the animals (when I came the last time a tour guide showed us around farm). I'm sure we didnt get a tour guide because it was late in the afternoon, but again they never mentioned this over the phone when I called. Again, it wasn't a big deal. Nowwhat really got me upset during this visit was the following: I saw a group of people entering a pen to pet a small pony. We entered the pen and, after everyone there petted the pony, I told my son to pet him (we were the last one to pet). The tour guide that was giving the tour said "did someone send you over here [to us]". I said no we just saw everyone petting the pony and I thought we were allowed to do the same (I mean we did pay like everyone else did, just saying). He said, "well this is a private group and you're not allowed to be here". I was soo embarrassed (he said this in front of the whole group). I think he should've pulled us aside and told of this. It was the last straw. I didn't enjoy any aspect of the visit (nothing). I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN or refer any to this place, ever.FYI: Last year I went on the weekend and this year I week on a weekday. Perhaps the people who work on the farm during the weekends are more professional.
Its the best my daughter had fun we cant wait to go there again.
