This store is a hidden jewel that ALL brides should discover. Based on our experience, there are several reasons why this place is so amazing! First, the store manager, Megan, has a warm, genuine personality whose philosophy is that every bride deserves to feel special and enjoy shopping for her "dream" dress. You can tell once you speak with her that she just has a passion for this particular business. She knows her inventory inside and out, (what is built into the interior of the dress can make a bride feel comfortable or not!!). Megan made subtle suggestions for adjusting the look of certain dresses to enhance the bride's figure and also how to correctly bustle the train (three hooks NOT just one) for dancing at the reception. Secondly, the fabrics and the quality of the dresses in this store are truly superior -- many are imported - European lace, tasteful, beautiful embellishments and a tremendous variety of styles and prices that even the girl on a budget under $500 can afford and really look gorgeous. The store is roomy, well-lit and arranged in an efficient way to allow for browsing by size on one side and, on the other side for trying on and viewing with comfortable seating the bride's dress selections. We were allowed to snap some photos (not all stores permit that) and there was absolutely no pressure to purchase anything unless we were 100% happy. With Megan's warm welcome and her extensive knowledge plus the very reasonable prices, we had a wonderful experience here - far superior to any of the other stores we have visited in the Bay Area where customer service can be mediocre and small budgets are frowned upon! Based on our experience, we believe this store should be Number One on any bride-to be's shopping list. Garnet and Grace in Hayward is truly is an amazing find!

My daughter and I were more than satisfied with the customer service and her senior prom dress! We were greeted and welcomed...The staff went over backward to help my daughter find her dress. It was upstairs, a beautiful color she picked was called watermelon, but looked peachy in color, exactly what she wanted!! I came knowing that if we found 'the dress' that a deposit would be required. That is how dress shops operate after all. She was soooo beautiful and just loved her gown and she will always have the memories along with her dress. Thanks to everyone at Kays!!
