Shannon, the manager, will smile and lie in your face almost every time you talk to her. A very bad experience. Does everything to not give the deposit back, no matter how correct a renter you were. Although the complex itself is quite nice (except for parking, well, the walls are also pretty thin), I would recommend noone renting there.

I was a former tenent of Hillcrest and a good tenent I thought. as I never had a problem wherever I leased an apartment. The best experience I ever had was with Marion I believe her name was of Hillcrest apartments. She is the leasing consultant that sits in the front office. She is very friendly, helpful, skilled at what she does and really knows what she is doing as she goes the extra step to help you and get you into a apartment. She should be running the place in my opinion. No fake airs on her part and she makes you feel comfortable. Anyway, In contrast to her excellent service and after I moved in., I had a problem with repairs that Marion was not in charge of. To my surprise, I found the service was very poor. In fact, I would say it was incompetant. I believe Catherine is the one in charge there and I found that Catherine will nickel and dime you to the poor house and will do anything to avoid the property spending money on repairs that are not at fault. She seems to have zero info on the property or who is even paying for her paycheck. If you need any kind of repair , you need you have to have a detailed reason why. If not ......YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE REPAIR. In fact, any kind of problem that involves in my opinion poor workmanship, they will try and blame you for and thus try and charge you for. The contrast from the leasing agent and the manager Catherine is a great divide. Cathering seems to only want to take money out of you while Marion will do everything in her power to help you. You will be nickled and dimed when moving out with the smallest of delails being charged to you. Overall, I would say avoid this place like the plague. If only there were were more good and honest people like the marion the leasing consultant. Just goes to show you that good people are still shut out.

If you don?t want to be nickel-and-dimed when you move out, go on to the next listing on this site. As the words of the Regional Manager, Stephanie, ?we are a frugal company.? We got charged over $300 for what would be considered standard ?wear and tear? ?no excessive damage with nothing broken. And we were told this was the ?partial? cost ? like they were doing us a favor.
The local/regional management is poor. You can?t get in touch with the actual owners to file a complaint because they?re located in Asia. Catherine, the Office Manager, is incompetent and just ?doesn?t get it.? Call and ask her who the management company is. She was unable to tell us her employer. And her manager I was told when I first spoke to her, was the President of the company. Nice.
Not worth the aggravation.
- From good tenants (with a horrible experience).
