Rose Norton: * Owner of Rose's School Of Dance Since 1964 * Member of Dance Masters of America and Dance Educators of America * Founder, Producer, Director, and Choreographer of Mt. Pleasant Community Theatre * Winner of the Cab Calloway Lifetime Achievement Award For 2002 * Recipient of Awards from the Mount Pleasant Chamber Of Commerce, Mt. Pleasant * Rotary Club * Westlake High School Players * Valhalla High School Drama Society Rose teaches a structured program with emphasis on proper technique with correct terminology. In addition to teaching, Rose annually produced musicals for two local high schools and the Mount Pleasant Community Theatre. Although her dancing school does not have a formal professional track, 29 of her former students have used their dance/theatre experience professionally. Malcolm Norton: * Graduate of Julliard * Over 40 Years of Professional Vocal Experience in Musicals and Opera * Over 25 Years of Experience in Private Vocal Instruction Malcolm is the pianist and accompanist for all classes. He also gives private voice and piano lessons in his private studio. He is the choral director for Mt. Pleasant Community Theatre, and has performed in both opera and musical theatre. Kerry Gallagher: * B.A. Degree in Dance and Elementary Education from Hofstra University * 25 Years of Dance and Performing Experience * 10 Years of Asst. Dance Teacher Experience * 8 Years of Acrobatic Teaching Experience Kerry has performed singing, dancing, and acting, in many area productions in several theatre groups. Silvana Larkin: * B.A. Degree in Dance/Theater from Manhattanville College * 20 Years of Dance and Performance * 4 Years of Asst. Dance Teacher Experience She Has Competed and Currently Is Preparing the Competition Team for Competitions as Well. Silvana has been a featured dancer in many of Rose's productions.
