Alyssa. Like I said in my text to you. I am sorry you feel the way you do but here are the facts. The vehicle your fiancée purchased was a 2013 Chevrolet Sonic with 13,000 miles on it. It still had FACTORY WARRANTY. The vehicle was a perfect. one owner, clean carfax (no accidents) automobile. What you are failing to tell everyone here is that your fiancée totaled it in an accident in less than a week. Your complaint was that the airbags didn't deploy. I explained to you why they may not have deployed and if you feel that they worked improperly to contact GM. You were just upset because you still owed me a down payment that we trusted you would pay later on. Your fiancée authorized the payments you are referring to that we "took out without permission". No business can withdraw funds from someones account without WRITTEN consent. We had just that. You just felt that since the car was totaled that you shouldn't have to pay the dealership the money you had promised. I am sorry but people do have to get paid to feed their families too. IE: sales managers, and sales people. As far as this marine thing and the disrespect? Really? One of my managers (the one who sold you the car) was in the army 5 years and my other manager is a marine. I totally respect and appreciate every soldier out there and go out of my way to make them satisfied whether they purchase from me or not. I did tell you that you had some growing up to do because you were acting childish at the time. My personal cell phone (the one you texted to) is available for every customer. That is how commuted I am at making sure EVERY customer gets the attention they deserve.
THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO AMANDA MI offered to both buy the housing and get it repaired but it would take a week. Your husband volunteered to save time if I would buy the part. He said he was experienced.I was then told of a timing chain rattle. I told your husband I would have it looked at when the radio was installed at the mini dealer in Raleigh. I told you not to allow them to diagnose the vehicle because they had made errors in the past and to let me handle it. But you took over as soon as the car got there by instructing the service writer to not take any requests from me. I called you and informed you it was your responsibility. They misdiagnosed as I knew they would and I had the vehicle taken at another repair facility your husband requested. The work was done and I paid for all of the items that were bad less the overage charge by the mini dealer in Raleigh, a thermostat housing I paid for once before for your husband and plugs. My portion was $1,283.76 yours was much less.
We began our search for a boat during the fall boat show, and had decided on a Carolina Skiff from another dealer. During the process it appeared that we were just another customer, and did not feel that we were getting what we felt was good “customer service.” If it was that way while we were purchasing, we wondered would it would be like after they had our money. I contacted Bay Racer about a boat on the web site. After that, personnel from Bay Racer contacted us regarding the boat. We actually purchased the boast strictly from emails and phone calls because we were so impressed and felt so taken care of. Our boat is great, and I’m so glad I called Bay Racer instead of going through the hassle of being just a number at the other place.
I recently bought a vehicle from the Havelock Karmike USA. the experience was good up until I went to pick up my license plate. It was my understanding that the sale was "out the door" meaning that all taxes and fees were paid by the dealer. Come to find out that they don't pay the taxes for the license plate. Which, if I had been told this I wouldn't have been upset. Words were said, and as I was leaving the manager Bob to be to get the F*** out the door.
THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO RICHARD K.Richard, We did PAY ALL of your DMV fees including the sales tax. You could not have gotten a permanent tag without them. What you are confused about is ever AFTER we get you your permanent tag, DMV still gives you a temporary "year" sticker until you pay the personal property tax to the COUNTY. We nor any dealer pay that. The county now issues the "year" sticker on any new purchase. NOT DMV. Sorry for the confusion.
I use to think all boat cleaners were the same... big mistake on my part. I have worked with a few different companies over the years to clean the underside of my boat. I was referred to Bay Racer Marine a few years ago and they have been great. No problems, no excuses, no damage to the underside of the boat... they are the best. I won't hire anyone else but them.
Before you purchase a boat anywhere in the Havelock Area, you need to go to Bay Racer Marine. Great people and they are very knowledgeable. I unfortunately purchased a boat before I went to them, but they will be the ONLY people I let service my boat from here on out. You will not be disappointed in their service or quality of work.
I have been there for multiple reasons including my repower, service, registration, or any other of my boating needs and they are happy to assist me, they are knowledable and have great customer service, I have had nothing but positive experiences at BayRacer Marine.
I wanted to thank you both for making the whole process so easy and Rick for taking the time to answer all my questions. For someone who spent 40 years in the automobile business I know customer service when I see it and you folks have the ideal kind.
