I waited years and years – way too long – thinking nothing could be done about the fact that my jaws were slightly “noisy” on the right side and that it was getting more and more difficult for me to open my mouth to chew. Eventually, one day three years ago (2009), my bottom jaw simply slipped off its joint on the right side and my mouth was completely locked shut. It seems a miracle now that I found online and in my own state of Michigan, Dr. Daniel Gole of Hastings who knew exactly what I needed. He put my jaw back in place so that I could open my mouth and he fit me with a plastic splint that he then adjusted gradually over the course of the next year or so. I wasn’t able to chew at all at first (and so pureed all my meals for months) but in the process of realigning my jaws, Dr. Gole made it possible for me to open my mouth wide again and chew everything and anything. At the same time, he eliminated the earaches I had been having for years on my right side. Headaches and backaches disappeared. My face, which had become less than symmetrical over the years, was in the end all straightened out. My posture was greatly improved.

We don’t usually think about this – I never did – but our jaws are vital to our health. By the sheer force with which we use them and given their position and relation to the rest of the skeleton, they can largely determine how the rest of our body looks and feels. I found the Gole office by their advertising. It is everything we should find in a good dental office. The people are friendly and very skilled. I changed from another dentist because of severe pain and bad office atmosphere. the office is open between rooms but I could not really hear other conversations because I noticed that the music was just loud enough to cover the talking but not so loud that it is disturbing. the music level was perfect. also, I no longer have to take anxiety medicine to endure a dental appointment. I don't endure but not enjoy. thank you.

I fell during running and knocked my front tooth out of place and chipped two teeth. I called the office for an emergency appointment and was able to get right in. The front desk staff (Beth, Jacque, Sarah, and Kathryn) were friendly and sympathetic to my injury. They made me feel very comfortable. I had a very short wait before being taken back to be seen. Dr. Phil and Jaymee quickly made a plan to re-position my out of place tooth and repair the chipped ones. They got right to work! In between treatment, each staff member that I encountered (Abbey, Carla, Stacy, Michelle, Alicia, & Dr. Jason) was so kind and made me smile and laugh and took my mind off of my injuries! I was put back together and on my way to work before lunch time. I am so thankful that we have such a talented dental team right here in Hastings. There is no need to travel to a bigger city because Dr. Phil and Dr. Jason and their team can take care of any dental need.

I took my family and I there for the first time and if you like everyone knowing your business its ok. They have open rooms so everybody can hear the problems you have with our teeth. I am already embarrassed by my teeth but now its more embarrassing because everyone knows and its so loud in there. They do have great technology but being personable and respectful of how people feel about their teeth is not a quality this office has the staff is very helpful but it just seems like there should be more privacy

I love going to Gole Dental Group for all my dental needs for my family and myself. It has convenient hours that fit into my husband's and my busy work schedule along with my kids. I can have all my dental care taken care of in one location instead of being referred to another office and having to drive. The staff is very friendly and works well together They explain to me everything I need to know in terms that I can understand and take the time to show me that they care. The office and staff keep up to date on all the new technology ....every time I go there seems to be something new.I can't think of a better office that I would rather be at and cannot wait to see all of you at my next visit! Keep up the great work. I know I am truly satified.
