13. Texas Pit BBQ
Texas Pit has become a weekly thing for me and my wife. Everything on the menu is superb but we cannot get enough of their pulled pork tacos. The atmosphere is perfect, good food, frosty beers, sports on every TV and the patio is great for those cool nights. I rate Texas Pit as a must try!!
14. Slim Chickens
5528 N Tarrant PkwyKeller, TX 76244
From Business: The Slim Chickens menu offers fresh cooked to order chicken tenders, wings, 17 different house sauces to try, a signature Cayenne Ranch chicken sandwich and fresh salads, authentic sides, iced teas (sweet, unsweet, raspberry, peach) and lemonade. It only takes a few minutes to get a fresh, hot meal.
The porch area is nice in the summer to sit and drink iced tea. The BBQ is good, but I think nearby Spring Creek in Keller is better. The large trees and comfortable country feel is worth a visit though.
