Overrated Reputation

Started our dinner with our server taking 15 min to take our order - tables that came in after us served first!

Paid $7 for an antipasto that consisted of five pieces of head lettuce on a tiny plate with fatty deli ham! Ordered "extra broccoli and tomato" on our pizza for an additional $4. Pizza came out looking like we asked for light veges - barely any broccoli at all!!

We felt like we were grossly ripped off.

Grotto - you have a monopoly on the lake - why do you feel the need to severely take advantage of your reputation which, if you continue on this rotten service/food quantity, will eventually be trash!!!!

Going Down Hill

Food was ok but service was terrible. I sat at the Sunset Bar, most waitresses were standing in a corner by the computers talking amongst themselves. One named Arianna was cursing quite loudly. Managers (green shirts) were walking past and did absolutely nothing. Seems like the girls could get away with anything by giving the manager a wink and a smile. I waited 5 minutes for someone to refill my drink and no attention was being paid to the other tables. Sadly, only the bussing staff (who I heard the servers constantly berating) seemed to be doing their job, tables were cleared as soon as people left. Depressing to see a once amazing place like this go down hill.

Delicious Pizza

Grotto Pizza has been a family favorite for over 33 yrs. I remember my family on a weekend would drive over an hour one way to go eat pizza at the famous grotto pizza at Harveys Lake back in the 70's! ummmm...
it was worth the drive! Grotto has a special sauce that noone can match. I always go to Grotto Pizza
when at Bloomsburg Fair or Rehoboth Beach!!
You'll luv it too!
