Have recently bought a boat from them and I can say from experience this is a top notch operation. Being young many of times I have walked into dealerships both auto and boat and have been looked down upon and treated as second class. The gentlemen at Boat Stuf were not only professional but very friendly as well. After I placed the deposit on my boat I had noticed some small repairs that I would make on my own as this was a consigned used boat. Having noted these repairs I came back to sea trial and close on the vessel and I was pleasently surprised to have found that without me asking them they had gone out and made the repairs themselves. That speaks volumes for me. They will have my business from now on. A++
The oil change guys used the wrong oil filter and all the oil leaked out and it locked up my engine. I suffered several delays in repair from one dealership repair that went on nearly a month. They wanted nearly $5000 to replace my engine and wanted me to be patient again. Enough. I went to Mike McGowan in service at this Rainbow dealership and the entire replacement cost just over $3000 and was ready in 3 or 4 days. Runs better than ever with a new engine. I was stunned. An honest, efficient service manager at a car dealership who gets the job done at a fair price? Who ever heard of such a thing? Not a lot of nonsense to jack up the repair bill? I will never have my auto repaired by anyone else.
Even for a car dealership, this place is unadulterated evil. They are cheaters and liars. I was lured in with false advertising, but that was not the worse part. They told me they could not use my car for a trade-in because it had a salvage title. I was literally crying on my way home I was so upset.Only to find out the next day from my bank that this was a lie. I then looked more carefully at the very report they gave me, which also showed I had a clear title. They literally tried to steal my car for $500, instead of the $7,000 their advertisement had offered me. The whole experience was vile and disgusting and I'm furious these losers ruined one night of my life for no reason. I mean did they really think I was going to buy one of their cars at that point and that I wasn't going to check with my bank the next day?Oh, and as for the Fiats themselves, the doors are very insubstantial even for a small car. I shudder to think what would happen to anyone being hit in the door by another car.
Best Honda Dealership in the area. Honda's are overpriced, but they are reliable and hold their value. Service staff is professional. Sales staff don't lie as much.

Great place to buy a truck
I recently purchased my GTO from out of state. I've tried a couple of places thinking maybe they knew how to maintain my GTO. It wasn't until I made an appointment with Lesson Chevrolet and noticed how focused they were on their customers. I was treated with A++ service and they were very knowledgeable with the maintenance on my GTO. I want to thank Mr. Clay and the rest of the crew for a job well done. I look forward to future services.
I had my truck towed there Thursday morning at 11:00 and they supposedly started looking at it around 2:30. I didn't get a call back till Friday at 8:00 am and they said it starts now and is ready to pick up. So went to pick it up and didn't even get half way home when it killed on Belle Chasse hwy. Called Lesson and told them I broke down so they sent a tow truck at no cost and and and a person from the dealer picked me up and brought me home. Here it is Saturday morning still without a vehicle. I think I should have gotten a rental/loaner car since they screwed up.
I've purchased two cars in the past years from Leson and the customer service is the best around. The management are attentive and the salesmen friendly and knowledgeable. I won't take my care anywhere else but here for service and maintenance...the mechanics will tell you if you need something replaced or repaired, yet also tell you that you really don't need something that you are questioning...if that's the case. The complete store is laid back in that they don't pressure you; they give you the information and realize that you are competent to make a decision on your own with the information they've given you. This type of dealership is far and few between. I'm not one to take the time to sign up and type a post, but when I read the negative post on here...could not close this site until I posted a fair and balanced response.
