I work a couple blocks from this location, so I frequent it whenever I need to mail a package or buy stamps.The lines are sometimes long, and there can be a wait for service. Honestly, I have not had a bad experience; clerks are always polite and helpful. So, I'm giving them five stars, because they have to deal with some rude customers!
10/15/2016: The Saturday mailman for Parkridge Condominiums in Wethersfield, CT buzzed me at 1:30 PM to go down to the mailroom for a package. I'm handicapped and confined. We have an elevator, but he refused to bring it. Instead, he left my box of Medical Supplies in the mailroom, which is accessible from outside, and it was stolen. My mailbox was checked for a Notice to pick it up; but only grocery ads filled it. I called the P.O. on Monday and Tuesday; but, no answer; not even a way to leave a message.
If I could give it a zero stars I would called to put in a courier complaint was told to call the 800 number ok fine first the lady didn't even say anything then answered like I was inconveniencing her. Called the 800 number told the gentleman why I was calling and how I was spoken too. He greatly apologized and handled my case quickly. Now I have to wait for up to 72 hours for the post master to review and call me. Pathetic
i gave correct address, they didn't even attempt to deliver. no door tag, no help
It's Hartford. Have learned to expect the VERY least from Hartford low class. They complain about better pay? Do YOUR JOB!
The people here are amazing. So very friendly and most importantly HELPFUL. Great job!! Give them a raise.
DON'T BOTHER WITH THEM!!! DON'T EVEN ATTEMPT CALLING THEY WILL JUST TRANSFER YOU EVERYWHERE BECAUSE THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! I EVENTUALLY GOT TRANSFERRED TO SOMEONE WOMAN AND SHE WAS A RUDE B****. YOU HAVE TO PUT THESE PEOPLE IN THEIR PLACE OR ELSE THEY WILL TALK TO YOU LIKE YOU ARE DIRT FROM UNDER THEIR FEET.
Sadly, this post office is a joke. Im disappointed in the service time and time again. They pry open boxes, claim the package is lost, cover for one another in the event something goes wrong- there is no accountability. Therefore, the consumer is at fault for any and everything. Poor customer service, tremendous attitude problems, lost and stolen items. Im disgusted and when I do move, Im just to get out of their mailing district. I will never again trust them or FedEx Smartpost with my mail. UPS only!
Worst service... I wanted to try a different USPS aside from the one in West Hartford, Boy the biggest mistake I've ever made.
