A few years ago my sister and my mother went to a custody hearing in Connecticut for my niece. Michael Peck represented my niece's dad. I really loved my niece's dad (who just passed away) and would have lawyer'd up just like he did, just like any dad would do, so believe me that what I'm about to tell you isn't skewed from a family perspective. Knowing that my mom and my sister were not represented, Michael Peck approached them in the halls at the court and pretended to be a public defender of sorts, and asked them to explain their strategy and standing for being awarded my niece's custody. Basically he gave them misleading legal advise while representing my niece's dad. The court opened and my mom and sister were confused and surprised to see him sit next to the dad. Michael Peck did a great job and won the case.
If you're looking for a lawyer who will do some unethical things to win your case (a "bulldog" or a "cowboy" of sorts), Michael Peck is the attorney for you. Be warned though that someone named Michael A. Peck of "Peck and Peck" was suspended for violating bar association codes of ethic, closed cases (practiced law) while suspended, and seems to have even forged checks from his clients.

For the above case, Michael A. Peck was forced to take a grueling 3 hours of remedial ethics courses at an accredited law school. I'm sure he's better now. Another attorney named Michael A. Peck served two years in prison back in 1993 for the something similar, stealing money from his clients. Was this Michael A. Peck the Michael in question? I don't know for sure, and I apologize to the honorable Michael A. Peck if the dirt-back in the article below is a different attorney with the same exact name and practicing law in the same exact town as he is.
