King and I Thai Restaurant

Looks a little like a hole in the wall, a little too red and white for my taste. You could drive down Park St and never see the place. The only reason we tried it was because it was recommended by a reliable source. Since then we have been many many times and, with only one exception, never had a bad meal. We often order off the menu, a dish called "I love vegetables." There must be at least half a dozen vegetables (different veggies every time we order), and we order it with tofu, or shrimp, or chicken, whatever we feel like that night. The sauces are never heavy, nor do they overpower the dishes. The ingredients always taste fresh! I cook a lot a home and will go beyond my confort level trying different ethnic dishes, but honestly these folks just have way more experience and frankly more ingredients in their pantry than I do and I have a feeling they have been doing this a long time.

It is BYOB which I am ok with---actually like, and the prices are really reasonable. It's a small place and usually pretty busy. I give it 4 stars.
