Our practices are concerned with the prevention of disability and with the evaluation, maintenance, and improvement of the functions of the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems of traumatically injured individuals. Evaluation procedures may include tests of sensorimotor, circulatory, and neurodevelopmental status, as well as the assessment of muscle performance, joint motion, and levels of independent function. Treatments at CORA are designed to assist the individual in achieving realistic goals consistent with his or her functional capacity by improving joint function, muscle strength, coordination, and endurance, developing motor skills, and relieving or managing pain. Physical therapy is implemented through preventive intervention, direct patient care, instruction of patients, families, and supportive personnel, and coordination and consultation with other health-care professionals.
CORA is able to offer a comprehensive range of modalities and treatment options to meet the needs of our patient population. The skill and knowledge of the treating therapist, along with each patient’s desire to improve, can lead to significant improvement in most conditions that have a medical necessity for treatment. Our mission at CORA is to remain committed to each patient. In this regard, we are committed to: -Providing excellence with the best physical therapy care available for our patients. -Providing cost-effective quality care and ensuring that each patient is independent as possible. -Helping our patients achieve and exceed their goals and function at the highest possible level. -Promoting, enhancing, and facilitating the quality of life and the recovery of normal movement through skilled and therapeutic intervention. -Providing professional, individualized services to our patients, their families and our community. -Respecting and enhancing our relationship with the community and our referring physicians.
