        Dr. Brandy McCormack, OD: Dr. Brandy McCormack received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the California State University, Long Beach. She then earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2007. Dr. McCormack did two internships with the Veteran's Administration. One was in Tucson, AZ where she had extensive training in ocular disease as well as low vision at the Blind Rehabilitation Center. The other was in Downtown Los Angeles, CA where she continued her training in ocular disease. She also completed internships at the College and the off-site clinic, University Eye Care Center of Los Angeles where she received extensive training on anterior and posterior segment diseases, specialty contact lens fittings, pediatric vision care, and prosthetic eye fittings. She has worked in multiple private practices and for a large retail company. She has also worked with opthalmologists, doing pre-and post-operative care for LASIK, PRK, ICL, and cataracts. She is proud to now have her own practice. Dr. McCormack was born and raised in Southern California. She relocated to Virginia in 2009 and now resides in Charlottesville, VA. She enjoys spending time away from the office with her husband, Harlan, and their two sons, Tyler (11) and Noah (7). Dani Johnson- Office Manager: Dani started as a turn down girl at a local B&B in Culpeper, VA at just 16 years old. From there she moved up in the ranks to running their reception desk as well as assisting in the dining/event facilities. Four years later she entered the eye care profession as a sales associate in a large optical retail company. In just a few short years, she again moved up the ranks until she was promoted to the assistant manager of the busy optical store. Now, Dani is the office manager for Dr. Brandy McCormack. Here she helps with the day to day functions of running the office, as well as administering the pre-testing and helping Dr. McCormack with various tasks. Dani uses her many years of customer service experience and optical knowledge to aid Dr. McCormack in providing the best eyecare and highest level of customer satisfaction around. Currently residing over the mountain, Dani attends college full-time and enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. Harlan McCormack- Customer Service: Harlan has 9 years of customer service experience and is always here to facilitate a wonderful experience. Harlan loves to see patients smile after getting an awesome exam from Dr. McCormack. Harlan and Dr. McCormack have been married for 13 wonderful years and they have two boys who keep them both very busy. Harlan loves working on home improvement projects and reading in his spare time. Whether it's answering phone calls, answering questions, handling payments or billing insurance Harlan is always here to help!
