The food was terrible because I got food poisoning. And the service was completely unprofessional. The girl at the counter had her cellphone ringer on and she pulled it out once it started ringing; not to turn off the ringer. But to check to see who was calling her.
I have tried to give this McDonald's the benefit of the doubt but time and time again their service is poor at best. The door states that dining in opens at 5am. I stopped by at 5:18 and door was locked and the staff stood inside shaking their heads saying not open. Constantly the food is cold and service is very slow. The attitudes of the majority of the early morning staff is poor consistently and it is clear that they do not enjoy their job. One staff member was in the middle of a transaction and stopped to talk on her cell phone. This location needs better management.
Clean restaurant, clean lot. But management needs to have better memory with things they tell you, and own up to their mistakes when they make them like adults do.
Went late at night the same day I moved to Harrisburg from Philadelphia, first the cashier was super nice when I was about to leave I went to eat a burger and noticed it had mayo (I order no mayo on all the burgers for me and my family) and I was missing 2 burgers so I went around the drive thru and told her nicely they had mayo and I was missing two burgers she caught a attitude and rudely ask for my receipt and bag to check, like I was lying and was trying to get over on two burgers maybe worth $1.50 each when my order was around $35. The fries were cold, bread taste like foam, chicken nuggets were hard and cold, Jr bacon cheeseburger didn't have tomatoes and bacon was burn and didn't give no napkins or ketchup... Definitely will never go back.
My favorite dairy queen. The people really care about their business and always make good quality ice cream.
Last Friday night my wife and I went to Cafe Fresco, as we have many times before. I arrived before my wife and ordered a cappuccino for myself and a mojito for her. She's had their mojitos and liked them. When she arrived she took a sip of her drink and it was way too strong. That happens sometimes, so I got our (very nice and professional) waiter's attention and told him about the situation. He brought out some of the syrup to dilute it a bit, but my wife still did not like it. So then he offered to bring out some seltzer water and it was still too strong so we asked him to take it back and he did. No problem so far. We both ordered salad also. My wife is allergic to red onions, and the last time we came in there were no red onions in the salad. So we get our salads and there are red onions in it. Since my wife can't eat them, I also sent that back and asked if he could make one without the onions. The waiter said "no problem", and they did.The rest of our meal was very enjoyable. When the check came I noticed that the mojito was still on the check. I called our waiter over to point out the mistake, and he went back to the bar. The next thing I know, a general manager named Brian came over to talk to me and says "my bartender said the drink was made perfectly and we can't take the drink off of your check". And then he said, "We also had to spend money to make you a new salad." I can't even believe it. I paid the bill (which I probably shouldn't have done) and we left.I have met the owner of this restaurant several times and have been a customer since they opened. I called in to the restaurant to speak with him and left him several messages. It took a week for him to get back to me. He said he needed to speak with the general manager to see his side of the story, and he would call me back. It has now been 14 days with no returned call, and I'm beyond mad. Needless to say, I will NOT be patronizing this restaurant again!
I eat at this place a lot!!! the food is outstanding, the staff is friendly, and you get your monies worth of food.. that's why I'm giving this place 5 stars. I wish I could say the same for most places around PA
Where is the health department when you need them? Horrible greasy, hours old or maybe days old fish. I have eaten at this chain all over the country and found it to be pretty consistent. Meaning good generally. Not this place. Old oil that smelled like yesterday's oil. Somebody call the owner.
