I have just returned from a " Dining Out Night " with my " Bestest Girlfriend, my Son, my Grandson, two of my youngest (13 year old & 10 year old ) Granddaughters " and one of their inbetween ( 12 year old ) BFF, at China Buffet. It was a unanimous decision, " Forks Up " across the table that we made a great decision eating there ! The restaurant was a bit smaller than I was expecting but the cleanliness of the establishment was impeccable . The family owned business had everyone involved in the operation. The young man behind the counter could not have been over 12 years old and was greeting customers and passing out menu's like an old pro, the lady seating us must have been the Matriarch of the family, she inquired of the size of our party and as I was telling her how many there was in our party she was pushing tables together and another young lady was showing us to our table, and asking us what we would like to drink. ( Fast & Efficient ) In just a couple of minutes our drinks were being served and she didn't have to ask one time who got what, a welcome relief from the usual 20 questions to get them right. We decided to go with the buffet tonight mainly to see if there was a decent variety to choose from. I won't even try to name all the different Asian entries that were presented. The veggies were cooked to perfection and the sauces they were in tasted like homemade Chinese delicacies made in " Mom's Chinese Kitchen. " The only way to top off a meal so full - feeling ( An Intentional Pun " ) is with DESERT ! R U KIDDING ? Tonight's dessert menu consisted of Ice Cream, sugar cookies, whipped strawberry trifles, Parfait Fluff, Sugar Coated Cashews, and the list goes on and on and on. And the staff never let you run out of anything , when your drink was getting low someone was right there asking if you needed a refill, telling us that if there was anything we wanted that wasn't in the buffet just tell them and they would make it for us. This was an experience I haven't enjoyed in a long time and the prices were comparable with any eatery in town and the food was way better than a cheeseburger, fries and a drink any day of the week. I rate China House ... 4 FORKS UP !
