Got to the counter and they said there weren't any cars ready had to wash them. Then when it was ready they said go out the door of the airport and go right to find my car. I do that but don't see the spot number they said. go back in and they said " not the lot close to this building, you have to go way down ( about 300 yards) to another lot that had no signage that it was a pick up lot. wasted an hour in the middle of the work day. Unprofessional and not up to Enterprise standards.

I rented a full size over the weekend and was happy they had one. The front desk person was nice and told me the car had some plastic on the passenger side. I said that was fine, but regretted it when I saw it. The "plastic" was actual residue that apparently they did not try hard enough to wash out. It covered most of the windshield on the passenger side & both passenger doors. The inside condition of the car was about the same, just a poor job at vacuuming. My company and I use Enterprise as our primary rental company. We don't go to the other competitors for this reason. Needless to say, I was already late to meet up with family and decided just to bring it up when I was to fly out. I arrived early to report my experience, but after waiting in line for 35 minutes...just gave up and headed to the gate.

What an awful experience. We booked online with a coupon. When we arrived the gal attempted to charge us more than the quoted price before discount and would not honor discount. She stated this business is not part of Budget nationally. WHAT...we booked through budget.com. As we waited another customer returned a car and in chatting with him, he had had the same experience we were having. Never again.
Great customer service at the check-in desk and the vehicle I received was in great condition. Thank you Enterprise for saving the day!I have used a competitor car rental company for at least 4 years until recent bad experiences with their customer service and terrible reservation practices. Never again will I use anyone than Enterprise just to save a Dollar.Enterprise is top notch, hassle-free and my new choice for rental car needs.
The only complaint I have is the staff member explained some things too quickly when I picked up the rental. Other than that it was a quick and easy process of renting a car from Enterprise Harlingen and paying for it upon return.
The staff at Harlingen was excellent but the car we got, though it served our needs fine, was extremely dirty. I had to wash the inside windows because it was very difficult to see when the sun shined or oncoming headlights shown on them. The inside was vacuumed but the seats were very stained. We planned on renting when we travel to Vegas in April but may go with another agency depending on price difference.
I usually have a good experience with Enterprise. Unfortunately my reservation for a full size car was not honored. I reserved weeks out, and then due to weather related flight delays in another city I had to call to push my reservation off one day. The agent said "no problem we will hold your car for you". I get there and the new agent informed me they gave my car to someone else since my reservation was for the day prior. I Informed him that I had called to push the reservation, but he kept repeating that my reservation was for the day prior, and ignoring that i had called to push it back. Somewhat like listening to a broken record. He then told me I was lucky because he had an intermediate car that he could give me. Full Size car vs. intermediate car, is not the end of the world, but it is not what I signed up for. All other aspects of the Enterprise rental were on point as usual.
