When I Spoke With Receptionist They Said $95 For The Surgery To Spay MyKitten, $25 Extra If She's In Heat. But, Once The Kitten Got To Her Scheduled appointment They Started Tacking On The charges. Using Excuses to Guilt Me Into Paying. I Told Them I Didn't ThinkThe Kitten Would Leave Her E-Collar On And They still Sent me Home With Three
Took my puppy to pet fixers for the initial visit and subsequent visit for neutering. The staff was terrific and took exceptional care of my puppy. He went in early in the morning and was ready to go by early afternoon. They kept me posted through the day on his progress and made sure he had what he needed when I picked him up.
We 1st visited because they were listed on Friends of Animals for discounted spay/neutering. When I went in to inquire, they were extremely friendly and gave a written quote detailing exactly what it would cost to have our puppy, Enzo, neutered. The surgery went well and we were very happy with the individualized care. Recently we had to return as our dog was injured outside playing. He had 2 large cuts on his front paw and was bleeding badly. When we called, the attendant said the vet wouldn't be in for an hour or so, but she put me on hold briefly and came back and said come right in, by the time you get here she'll be here! Luckily our Enzo is fine, he did need surgery and stitches to take care of it, but again we were informed upfront of what we were looking at cost-wise and we were SO grateful that they were willing to see us right away even though it was before office hours. Highly recommend.
I brought my two dogs here for the first time a few weeks ago - just for a general checkup. The entire staff is so friendly and gentle with the animals. The most impressive part to me was that they are absolutely transparent about their pricing - providing a printed estimate before continuing with any services and explaining all of your options to you. You truly feel that they are interest in your pet's health, and not the bottom $$.
My senior dog needed a dental - his first since he came into my home. I was a nervous wreck. Dr. M and her team did a fantastic job of explaining every single detail throughout the process, and making sure that I had everything I needed for the follow-up care (and they also did an excellent job at calming my nerves!).
I drive 20 minutes to get to Dr. PetFixer, literally passing 3 other offices on the drive, but I will never have it any other way after my experience here.
Truly a great experience not only for our three cats Mickey, Kalley, and Junior but for us as well. The staff are all very friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. They make you feel like they love your pet just as much as you do. Dr. Pet Fixer is where we go from now on.
I started with this office when our sweet puppy came home, he was tiny and sick. The care from all the staff from follow up calls to coloring books for my kids when I had them all with me on my visits. Our experiences have been superior I drive past many closer vet offices on my way to Dr. M. I would go nowhere else !
It's a different name for a vet's office but it's what they do! I came in for a PT eval for Fergus, my labradoodle and they were very honest about his prognosis. Dr. Monteiro quoted a price which was competitive to another local vet however Fergus would have benefit of water therapy for his PT following his surgery.
It's been 6 weeks and Fergus is doing very well. Joanne and Marcie, Petfixer team, have are very experienced and they have been supportive to both Fergus and me, (I was almost as stressed as Fergus over his surgery). They called regularly and really cared about how he was doing between visits.
his is the first time I have ever rated anybody online. After two years of my wife and I paying for expensive yearly plans that did not cover anything and constant charges at every well visit, the last straw. They had a specialist come to operate on my sharpei. We were quoted a price of $325. On the day of surgery the specialist tells us that it will be $2500 for a different surgery that should cost $800. My wife says just do the original surgery which they now tell us is $600 instead of $325. We tell them to forget it and they tell us we owe them $275 for consultation. After my wife tells them that is unfair, they threaten my 4 foot 11 inch 95 pound wife with calling the police and they try to keep the dog for payment. I have never experienced anything like this. We came from the main line where they have very expensive veterinarians and never experienced anything like this. I would avoid at all costs. They are simply not trustworthy. By the way, the owner never returned any of my phone calls on numerous occasions of being overcharged. I guess it does not pay to be trusting and nice. :-(
Dr. Monteiro, Joanne, and the entire staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and compassionate! They walk you through each required medical procedure, and always take the time to follow up afterwards. In addition, the Health Plan ensures that your pet receives all required vaccines and treatments, at a predictable price. Thank you, Dr. Pet Fixer, for all of your medical attention and caring, patient personalities.
Dr. Monteiro and her staff are WONDERFUL! They go above and beyond to care for your family (notice I didn't say pets, because my dogs are my family). The staff is very helpful and guides you every step of the way. They were always one step ahead and ready to answer any question I had.
My personal experience was a mixture of joy and sorrow, and through it all they had Kacee's best interest at heart. I highly recommend Dr. Petfixer and her staff be apart of your pet's health.
