Provided by Citysearch -I have sampled all of the local Thai places because I have worked down the street for 8 years. This is my absolute favorite for Pad Thai. I like mine a little spicy but the flavor is all there! Way Way Better that WaiWai which is in the same complex. Ask for a side of Lime though because it doesnt come with one and its way better with it.

Provided by Citysearch -I eat here about 3 times a month. Never been let down unless I am doing a take out. So far 75% of the time I get take out they miss something, or get it wrong. Not so when I eat in. So, I eat in :)
4 out of 5 stars for the taste of food.
4 out of 5 stars for service.
5 out of 5 stars stars for cleanliness.
When it's packed, It can get a little loud because the floor is ceramic tile rather than carpet so, sound kind of bounces around. Nice not to have to compete with a television though, as there isn't one.But all in all, for that area of the SE, it's a gift to hungry foodies like me.
I like the 34 and 35. Both curry with coconut milk

Provided by Citysearch -I could eat good Pad Thai morning, noon, and night. When I saw this place open, I was happy to try it out. Their Pad Thai ran me eight dollars for a small portion. When I took a bite, I almost lost it. Rather then use a base of Tamarind, they use...KETCHUP!!! The noodles were literally SWIMMING in this horrible sauce! OMG...I thought I was eating a watered down Spaghetti O's! I just threw it in the trash. I'LL NEVER GO BACK!!!

Provided by Citysearch -If you're looking for a classy restaurant that serves high-quality cuisine in a fast-food/ Walmart type setting you will certainly find it at Arawan. I've been there many times and tried quite a few dishes and they have all been wonderful. Some of the staff doesn't speak English very well, but they are extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is very clean and aesthetic as well. Go and ENJOY!
the green curry was way too sweet and the soup that they serve before the meal was very bland. no wonder this place was empty

Provided by Citysearch -My husband and i eat here just about every week and get the same great food every time. It can get busy on the weekend for take out, but during the week is fairly quiet and get very fast attentive service. I love the coconut soup (tom ka gai soup), sweet and sour tofu, fried tofu appetizer, and for dessert, nothing beats a 'nutty monkey'. For two glasses of wine, soup appetizer, and two entrees, plus dessert usually run s around $50! Very accommodating for vegetarian / vegan diet. Will modify just about any recipe to make it vegetarian. Highly recommended.

Provided by Citysearch -This place is located close to us. They are quick, the food is consistently good, and they pride themselves on customer service - very friendly place!
We have dined in at this place with our toddler. They were very accommodating! (they do have high chairs & boosters!).
The green curry is great - love the eggplant in there! The pad Thai is a bit on the sweet side for my taste but includes ample meat if you order it that way. They also serve a little salad with peanut dressing if you dine in... nice touch! Great spot for lunch, quick week night meal (dine in or take out), or family meal.
