I was really looking for a Honda or Toyota and stopped into Lawrence Subaru in Hanover because they had a pre-owned Toyota. The salesman Joe was very low pressure and mentioned a used Impreza there on the lot. I asked him where the Honda and Toyota dealerships were and he was kind enough to point me in the direction. The Honda salesman actually sold me on the Subaru brand by telling me that Subaru owners are fanatical about their cars. That they take pictures of themselves with their cars, cry when they have to trade them in and name them. Well, I want to feel that way about a car too. That stayed in my head for a few days as I looked around. Corollas and Civics were everywhere but I couldn't find another impreza for sale like the one at Lawrence's for the price and mileage for 100 miles around so I decided to buy it. Joe was very helpful and easy to work with. He did everything he said he'd do and even held the car for a day until I could come over with my trade in car and the money. Oh yeah, because it is small, cute and blue I named it the Smurfmobile.
As far as being given treated nice and with respect, don't expect to find that from Peggy or Sue. They do not talk very nice to anyone it seems. As far as Rick goes, he is awesome nice and understanding. As far as quality of the vehicle I have purchased. It has ran the whole time without any major issues except for the last 6 months I have asked numerous times to have my transmission and fluid looked at and they won't do it due to it being an explorer and what all goes into checking it even though it is under warranty so that is a little upsetting along with not fixing my dome light that stays on all the time. I was told I have 4 doors and hatch in the back so they don't know which one it is and they only have a limited supply of tools... so my review is if you are desperate and absolutely have to do buy here pay here I guess they are OK, but also they do not report to any of the credit bureaus to help you establish your credit.
RE: Arliss (service manager). I was skeptical at first because I don't associate with dealerships for obvious reasons, but he and this place did me right. I live in York and drove to Hanover Nissan as opposed to Apple Nissan which was much closer and have absolutely no regrets. The only dealership in the world that I trust! They are very courteous, hard working, but focused and relaxed. I would trust/recommend Hanover Nissan again. Great attitudes, helpful, and best of all, not trying to nickel and dime me to death! Great locally owned family run business. Honest, reliable and reasonably priced. Small little shop is one of Hanover, PA's best kept secrets. Business has been in Hanover over 15 years. People think it is a small car dealer but it is MUCH more. Best rates with exceptional service. Brothers that run the business are good guys and hard workers. glen and Jose and the other two there.....I did not catch their names but they are all so very personable and down to earth. I went to a few other places before making my final decision and could not be happier with my experience. These guys actually care about the costomers and it is apparent in the way they run things. I am a very satisfied costomer and I highly recommend these guys for your everything scooter and moped needs.
After being strung thru the mud at other dealer's we went to dean's auto plaza and with there honesty and excellent customer service we were able to make a deal. There staff listened to what we wanted, what we could afford and what we needed and they were able to get up into our new truck within the hour we were there. We have had this truck for a few weeks now and it is wonderful.
I am very unhappy with this company. had it in for repair and they put a part on that wasn't the problem. He still made me pay for the part and labor.Told me it was not covered by warranty. I took it back, and, it took 2 weeks to get rear differential. I should have been refunded for the wrong diagnosis.
