i use to work for Mr. Richie and Mrs. Niamiah, and althought Mr. Richie communicated very well and was respectful. His wife on the other hand, very rude and disrespectful. They laid off me and another employee because marital problems and now come to find out they are still open. The service is pretty mediocre and the communication with his wife is always a sugar-coated answer when in reality the car hasn't even been inspected and/or fixed. if ive learned anything it is to never bring your car here unless you wanna be overpriced, disappointed, and most likely the same problems you were having before you brought it in then i suggest you find another mechanic option
Their prices qre unheard of. Just want to make sure no one goes here. Wanted to charge me $1200 for new shoes and rear cylinder and front brake pads. Went down the road to lovejoy tire and auto and they did all of it for $365. So don't go to Kauffman they will rip you off
The absolute worst service rediculous wait times and rude employees. I would avoid this tire lube and express at all costs
I am a bit confused about the poor review for Richies’s Tires & Accessories. I’ve been a customer for approximately 2 years now and customers talk with each other. I’ve never heard such a poor review and I’ve met customers who have been with them far longer than I’ve been. I cannot even list the numerous services I’ve had done here. Professionalism has always been great. Service has always been one of the best I’ve seen in this industry…I’m extremely picky with who services my vehicle… I have a family of 6 and my children’s safety is my top priority. At Richie’s they always provide honest service… my most urgent needs are always taken care of first… money is tight, so my husband and I will get little discounts here and there… they don’t try to fix anything just to make a buck… they’ll tell us what to fix next and take it in stages. I had a tire blow out once and only had a bad spare tire… I had no money for a tow truck or a good tire, my husband was over 35 miles away at work and I had a van full of kids… I took a chance and drove on my bad spare to Richie’s… I explained the situation to them and was GIVEN a used tire… I was not treated any differently from when I was a paying customer… I was treated with respect and for that, they have both my husband and I as lifetime customers… I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for honesty, professionalism, respect for you and your vehicle, and quality service at a very good price to visit Richie’s …. I guess people have different motives for doing what they do but God sees and knows all things and he’ll be the judge. That said, for the owners and staff at Richie’s keep up the good work and I will leave you with this from the word of God…. “Keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.” 1 Peter 3:16… Keep up the good work guys
This business has communication and customer service issues, all at the customer's expense. They have chosen not to release my vehicle to me for the agreed upon amount nor have they completed the botched paint job to my satisfaction. I was paying them for a service, but had to bring in an outside associate, at the owner's request, to assist him in simply removing hardware on the vehicle while it was at this shop because the owners, nor their employees, could do it themselves without further damaging my vehicle. They are horrible and I wouldn't send my enemy here!
I have been using this place for the past year and I have been happy with all their service. I have had the experince from other repair shops in Hampton where I had to wait a few days for a appt. then you had to drop yor car off and hope you get it the next day, and they charge you for every little detail. First choice, you just drive up and they will get you in, can drop off if you do not want to wait. So far I have got my car back on the same day, or hour or two waiting. the $ is reasonable too.
