We just purchase our first travel trailer. Our salesman, Ross Hawk, was awesome! He gave us his cell number and email. He answered email, texts, and calls very promptly. He is nows his stuff! We went for our demo and the staff in that are were helpful and polite. Same with finance. From start to finish it's been a great experience. We brought the trailer home on a Saturday. When we arrived home it was late. We noticed a couple of items missing. I texted Ross and he answered immediately. The following Monday, parts were ordered and are being shipped to my house.Service has been awesome so far!
Had to wait 2.5 hours to have demo and then get parts fixed including a ripped cushion and control panel that did not work. When I told Jeff (owner) about my experience he said there was another guy who had to wait even longer than me. He then blew up and said I could unhitch when I asked if that was supposed to make me feel better, I like the RV, sales and demo personnel were good but I almost did unhitch since I do not feel good that even $1 dollar of profit went to this guy, Awful treatment of customers.
Anyone looking for a camper this is the place to go. Very good selection very friendly employes. It's an A+ all the way!
The purchase of our 2017 232RBXL Salem Cruise Lite, has been a geat experience from Jeff Couch's RV Nation. We researched this RV just about everywhere in the whole United States and by far received the best price here. Our salesman, Drake, was very knowledgeable and kept us informed as to the progress of our order. We live 6 hrs. From RV Nation so we had our trailer delivered to our door. Received it in perfect condition. They asked where we wanted it and they back it right up and did an inspection with us. Will definitely recommend RV Nation to anyone looking to purchase an RV.
I would first like to start with the purchase of a 2015 Salem Hemisphere light, model 272RLIS by Forest River Which was purchased at Jeff Couch's RV Nation in Hamilton Ohio due to pricing and being purchased from a wholesaler and delivered in July 2014 to my residence in Jacksonville Florida. My salesman was Brannon Osterberger, who at the time was the most courteous, professional, friendliest, knowledgeable, and most willing to go out of his way to make me happy for the purchase of a new travel trailer from his business. I have had this travel trailer for approximately 15 months, and out of the 15 months I've probably had it in my possession for approximately 3 1/2 months, the rest of the time was spent in the shop. Let's just start with five Air conditioning units, Jack's not working, Television cable cut between the walls, stereo speakers not working, fuses constantly being blown out, gaps between slide outs and seal of 1 inch or more, staples being pushed through the ceiling by workers walking on the roof to replace AC units, wood frame being pulled away from the wall when the slide-out is being opened and last but not least had to have the chassis on this brand-new travel trailer re-welded Because it had given way and flexed in the wrong direction causing the slide outs to be more than 2 inches out off square, causing the slide-out to rub on the top frame of the travel trailer, it was a bicker back-and-forth for four months as to who they were going to send down to Jacksonville Florida to look at the camper and make any necessary repairs. I have since decided to put it up for sale, so I had asked a few dealers in the area if they would put it on consignment and sell it for what I owed, which is still below what they are selling for on the lots, I was even willing to take a loss just to get out from under this deal but due to all the problems I've had, no one will put it on their lot for sale. After being fed a line of bull crap from the dealer at which the travel trailer is at this time" I won't mention any names at this time" I called Jeff Couch's RV Nation where I purchased the camper and spoke to Brannon Osterberger on 11-4-2015 to explain the problems I have had and wanted to see if they can do anything for me and Brannon Osterberger response to me was "aren't you in the AC business" at which time I told him "I wasn't going to make any repairs on a unit that has warranty on it and that, that wasn't my job to repair". Needless to say it was a poor response with the conversation leading nowhere and that it was up to me to put it up for sale and not let anybody know what was wrong with it. All I wanted was a product that I thought was put together rather well, that I would enjoy with my family for years to come and it has been nothing but short of that, just wanted to let you know that the service and the concern after the purchase is absolutely without a doubt the worst in any Industry that I have purchased from. I have also reported this issue to several agencies and will be posting this on every social media and website I can.I hope for the sake of those people who are out there shopping that they would do their homework, look at reviews, talk to people that own campers, anything possible to avoid from being in the situation that I am in. Due to certain laws in the state of Florida I am limited as to what recourse I may have, I am still looking into legal courses I may have in the state of Ohio and at the company (Forest River).
Service is terrible.Stay away!!!
I recently purchased a 2016 Forest river silverback 35qb4 from Jeff Couch's RV nation. We traveled from Annapolis, MD to Ohio to pick it up and had a great experience with them. I would email them and get a response within minutes. The only problem we had was they had Forest river install the wrong outside kitchen. With the silverback the outside refridge should be in a outside door nest to front door and it was in the outside kitchen which I do not like but we had no other choice than to take the silverback because they didn't had another one.. To say the least I sat there and cried over this but it is what it is. Other than that the salesman was great and we loved how you go there and your camper is in a garage open ready to inspect. We found a few items that needed addressing and they fix them while we did the paperwork. the people in the shop were friendly and helpful and the finance guy was great. I would highly recommended saving money and buying from them. I gave them 4 stars because of not getting the correct outside kitchen and they never offered any thing to compensate for it.
Terrible experience with service after purchasing a $47,000 fifth wheel from Jeff Couch. They had our unit for 22days to do warranty repairs after we only had the camper 1 month. After receiving no calls from them for two weeks, I was told that I was "too stupid" to operate the a/c correctly and that all the other repairs would be done in 1 more week. A week later I called again and ended up having to speak to Jeff himself due to the other service techs not being able to tell me what was being done to my camper. Jeff became very irate and with many foul words told me to come pick up my "POS camper" and that it was fixed. Well nothing was fixed. The a/c would not keep the camper cold than 85 degrees when it was barely 90 outside and the refrigerator fan they were supposed to have replaced, quit working in two days.i removed it to get a replacement and found that they had only sprayed it with lithium spray so it would work long enough to get out of warranty. I DO NOT RECOMMEND JEFF COUCHS AT ALL. I would spend a little more and get service after the purchase. I would give zero stars if possible.
Originally requested a quote via email. Received call/message called him ( Kyle ) back. Explained our interest in a Cedar Creek 36 CKTS. Was asked to send in pictures of our 'trade' a 2013 Cedar Creek 34. Sent pictures in within 30 minutes of conversation. That was about 3:30 PM yesterday. It is now 5:30 PM the following day and we have not received a follow up call. This sends a red flag concerning customer service.
Last year, I purchase a new unit from Jeff Couch’s RV Nation; we drove 9 hours from Maryland in May of 2012. When I arrived the place was huge and everyone was extremely friendly. Jeff had a technician Bryan perform our walk through and the unit was spotless, everything on my unit was complete and ready for our 9 hour travel back to MD. The walk through took about 2 hours and there was no hurry at all. Absolutely positive experience all around, we were completely satisfied, it wasn’t until the past couple of weeks that I had another dealing with Jeff and his team, my bedroom slide wasn’t operating correctly, we had purchased an extended warranty for safe keeping, to make a long story short, there were issues getting my unit repaired through the extended warranty company, I worked closely with the Forest River Warranty Department as well as Curtis Carpenter from Jeff Couch’s RV Nation, both were more than helpful and went over and beyond to make sure my unit was fixed correctly and covered. I must say I was totally blown away with their commitment to customer service, everything was perfect! We were extremely satisfied with our entire dealings with both Jeff Couch’s RV Nation and Forest River Warranty Department. Amazing Service and customer relations, thank you all for assisting us with our trailer. You guys exceeded our expectation! We will send business your way for sure!
