If you're looking for a new bank don't go to USBank! I recently opened an account and was given bad service/incorrect information about my account. I deposited a paper check and before doing so I asked how long before my money was available and I was told 2 business days by the teller Mary Jane. So I said ok sounds great. Today I tried to use my card and it declined. When I called I was told that due to my account being new and under 30 days there is a 5 business day hold. I advised that I asked before I made the deposit because I forgot what the policy was because I'm new. i asked what needs to be done to release the money and was told the manager would call me back. I didn't get a call over the next few hours do I called again and was told the same thing it was almost 4 an hour before they close and I had made four calls by now and still nothing. I had to use personal time off from work in order to get this taken care of. I finally got in touch with the manager and she too said there is a five business day rule for new accounts. I said I understand that but I was told by the teller the day of it was two that's why I decided to continue. She advised there was nothing she could do for me. The manager Tracy was rude and interrupted me several times and wouldn't let me finish explaining what happened. wouldn't take accountability for the incorrect information given to me. The only other option was to close the account to get my money out. I went in the branch and Mary Jane was who was assisting me. I told her that she should use this as a learning experience since There is two answers to the question I asked. I advised that maybe they should say what both answers: 2 days over the 30 or 5 days under. Or just ask if the account is new. She said they would never do that. It was a suggestion for the future so this wouldn't happen again. She then put the blame on me since I was given the info when the account was opened. Horrible service and no accountability!!
Do not open an account at this bank.I wanted to support a local business so I went to Lebanon National Bank (with a witness) to open a business account. The young man was new but very nice and we were both happy when we left. Neither of us was told that we were supposed to have a $500 balance at all times or I would never have opened an account as I wasn’t sure how my online business would do (certainly not $500). I opened it with $80 which seemed reasonable. My business had no activity this year so I didn't use my bank account and the money sat there (we're building a website so the end of this year should be busy). However, LCNB National Bank has taxed the money and now I owe $119.82. Out of the blue. I will need to pay this "overdraft fee" in order to close my account, which is what I optioned to do. I am willing to pay it to cut my losses but will never have anything to do with this bank again and will be happy to tell anyone if they are looking for a new bank.
been with for ten year charged me $34.00 over draft fee for over drawing .34 cents will be going to different bank from now on
