Called to make an emergency reservation for short term use of an economy sized vehicle. Spoke to two agents who confirmed I'd be all set upon arrival. When I get there, after waiting for over a half an hour, a different employee tries to upsell a larger sized vehicle and insists they're all out of smaller ones despite the conversations I'd had not even an hour prior to arriving. He won't accept my form of payment even though my card can be run through as credit, and apparently you can't rent from enterprise without a birth certificate, 6 references, and your first born child. He goes in the back for a bit, and when he returns he says that the main problem now is that he's unfamiliar with my mechanic, so they can't rent to me! I've rented from enterprise before, WITH this credit card, and they PICKED ME UP from that very same mechanic. Tell me... what on earth does being besties with my garage guy have to do with being able to pay $25 for a Camry? Unreal.
This place is horrible! I will never rent a vehicle from another Enterprise again because of this place. I was accused of damaging a vehicle that I was given, which was obviously a piece of garbage. This vehicle was found to be clunking after driving it an hour....at this point they were close and we were leaving for a long weekend. When I returned I advised them of this noise, they then pointed out danaged to trhe underneath of the vehicle and told me I would be held responsible. I did not damage this venhicle, I told them this and they then condescendingly spoke down to me as though I was unintelligent....after telloing me, and I quote "there was dirt in the area that was damaged, which leads us to the decision that this happend while you had the vehicle." If the damage were there before I received the vehicle then there would still be dirt in the damaged area! Steer clear from these people, they will make your life miserable....I was also just told that Enterprise did this to another family member of mine. I wish I would have known this before.
