Coombs Heating and Air Conditioning

I gave this company a 5 star rating. They showed up to my home well after 9 pm. did not charge me any extra fees, and fixed my air quickly. it is really hard to trust people these days, those men were very kind and professional. I will call them again if needed.

Contacted Coombs to conduct a simple AC tune up on a 4 ton Bryant unit. AC unit was determined to be in perfect operation with no recharge reqd but the valve core was damaged by servicing tech! Owner {Tim} was contacted when damage was verified by a licensed alternate AC contractor. Tim agreed with damage and stated reimbursement would be made for damages. The 120 service fee was refunded but now stuck with a 398.04 bill to repair Coombs error. It has been over a month to which Tim will not return calls or send payment. Looks like a trip to Lowndes Magistrate court is next. Please save yourself the trouble and pick a more reputable AC company to handle your needs...

Had two appliance go on the blink almost at the same time, so we called a recommended repair company.



Repairman responded at appointed time. Stated our diswasher issue was in the control panel and not worth cost to repair. Repairman looked at our microwave and stated the problem was a door swith ($36.00 plus a $55.00 service call) . We ordered the door switch and after the repairman installed it he stated it was not the door switch, and stated he T-H-O-U-G-H-T it was the coil? We immediately wrote him a check and sent him packing. What a waste of time and money!



Now, I wonder if his guess was correct on our dishwasher. Too late, we have already replaced dishwasher at a cost of $1,200. Very nice man, but not very educated in electrical appliance repair, and should find himself another line of work.



I gave the company a star rating of one (1) only because there was no option to list it with a zero (0).



I would not recommend this company to any of my friends or family.
